Bonnie, you are living my fantasy life. I am either Peter Rabbit or Mr McGregor. But a girl; so maybe Jemima Puddle Duck?

Yeah we have to get them done next month, there is a travelling shearer you can hire. Can't wait to see it done, poor boys will be in an undignified position. We did not buy expensive ones with gorgeous wool, otherwise I would send it to Mut for a stylish sleeveless vest. K&F are the ones they don't use for fine wool, just guardians.

haha one of the ducks is Jemima. Had a bad loss a few weeks ago and all my faves were taken so am waiting to see how the boys go with their guardian duties before restocking. I've only got 4 ducks & 3 chooks left atm :(

Sounds great i have a friend who has a farm up on Camp Mountain (real name lol) he farms the good wool ones they have a great time just sort of hangin out. they look a bit dopey but I am told they are not
 
should get a cassowary those buggers could rip the side of a house off prett,,,but very very nasty buggers

Camp Mt LOL love it! They are a bit dopey looking, Frank has sweet little chubby chops though. And they seem smart, just checked them and they are lying close to chook house, end on end so they can see 360 degrees. And the humming, so sweet.

They are about 16mths old, so should be getting their protection role sorted out pretty soon. Really hope they do a good job cos I think I love them.

Not sure, guess I'll find out if any wander in the gate. They seem to graze most of the time and they don't eat the grass right down to the roots either, and they chew their cud cud the rest of the time.
