I had a great time.
I think forum people forget, relationships and emotional investment takes time. They did the same last year. First week the housemates were all hated. By the second week we had Appreciation threads spewing out of Appreciation threads, then by week three the stalkers locked onto new infatuations to love and obsess over.

But I have no idea how it feels to have a perfect stranger scream obscenities at me due to ignorance and discrimination.
I remember walking with an Asian friend of mine who is Vietnamese origin and born here from immigrant parents who were boat people, and this guy pulled up at the lights and screamed "go home fucking gook!", and I turned to my friend absolutely mortified, and he said "oh don't worry, I get it all the time". And that moment seriously opened my eyes to how it sometimes feels to be a minority group when swimming in what can be a nasty pond.
When I hear people call you names, not due to you being a prick, not due to your personality flaws but due to your sexuality, it makes me want to punch them in their stupid fucking throats!

I didn't catch too much about the ability to purchase food from a diner with their winnings. I pretty much stayed up just to watch the housemates lose their shit at the diet shakes thing, then went to bed (damn 3:30am wake up alarm for work)
I do hope Priya doesn't give out too much, if any, of her cash for food.
