I was obsessed back in the day... like, OBSESSED. If you guys think I'm passionate about Big Brother, you ain't seen nothin' with me and my other two TV loves. Charmed, as I've mentioned before, will always be my number one show and it was a huuuuuugge part of my life growing up. Was able to fulfill a lot of childhood dreams by meeting three of the cast last month too. :D

But anyway, when Glee started in 2009 I fell in love. Like, being a musical theatre geek myself (only watching them, I can't actually sing or act), the show obviously appealed to me. Was seriously a guilty guilty pleasure... staying up every week when the songs were released online USA time... seeing the episodes as they aired over there... I don't even know why I spent the amount of money I did on all the merchandise that I don't even want anymore lol. But yeah, I was full-on about it to the point of actually writing two whole seasons of FULL 45-50 page transcripts of my own Glee episodes, just as a side hobby. (I can feel you all freaking out btw...)

But then that was until season 2 came along and the fucking dickhead Ryan Murphy slowly started to destroy the show and let the power of it go to his head... and then season 3 happened and it got worse... and I hated every episode that I watched... and then season 3 ended and I legitimately boycotted a TV show for the first time ever in my whole life.

I have not seen a single episode of season 4 at all for this reason.

Obviously Cory's death completely rocked me though and I am still really, really upset about it. I was devo'd the day it happened. I will definitely watch his tribute episode of-course... and I wouldn't be able to watch a repeat either... but yeah.

I was a crazy secret Gleek a couple years ago.

Don't burn me for it. :p

I watch it, I do have a glee playlist on my iPhone, I think season 1 was brilliant, much darker than recent series, so no burns from me

Wow! That is some obsession haha! I agree with you about it going downhill after season 1. In season 1, it was quirky and funny and then after that it was just ridiculous.

On a brighter note, some really awesome things happened from my obsession. :)

I video edit, so naturally I started editing little quirky Glee videos, or remixes of stuff from the episodes. Started a YouTube channel specifically for it. Within about a month, my videos started to go viral. Every video was getting about 1,000 views a day for three or so months, one video hit 600,000 and I had a couple of the cast retweet me. The craziest part was when I started getting comments about people seeing a video on TV, and turns out one of them was actually shown during a live interview with Heather Morris on Good Day LA.

Was such a weird feeling, especially coz I don't do this stuff professionally.

...and then Fox deleted me lol.

You should be doing it professionally!

You should be doing it professionally!
It's kinda on the horizon... soon-ish...

Had to take a lot into consideration lately but a little small business on the side in addition to my full-time job looks like the way it's gonna go soon... it's just really really scary lol

Good boy, you have a talent, you should be using it! Very proud of you!

And best part is...

I only have to work Monday-Tuesday this week. No work from Wednesday-Sunday, so...

New ventures in life certainly can be... I think I'm on the verge of making one myself! So hard to know exactly what to do though! Change can be scary, but it can also be better than a holiday :D
