Yeah, sorry about that. Just read the lament, and figured it might be a nice distraction.
Your poppy may have had dementia, but even then he sounded wiseMy Poppy always used to say 'You got to have a balance.'. He said that a lot. Mainly I think because he had dementia so he often would say the same things over and over again. Still, it was good advice.

Well it wasn't meant to be that big (no pun intended). You certainly went all out with that distraction. Very good effort I must say though, ha ha ha![]()
Anything I can do to cheer you up, @JordanS?
I guess you are right. Although sometimes I understand fully what mistakes I have made, other times I don't because it was never properly explained to me the mistakes I made to make that person so upset.

You really are an understanding and sensitive hearted person, Lucas. I wish there was a million more people like youIf that happens you could ask the person to elaborate on what they thought you did wrong. If they can't be bothered explaining to you then they can't really complain about you. How would you learn how to improve then? Don't judge yourself too harshly. We all do stupid things sometimes. You are only human and you are willing to learn about others feelings.

I dont think there is to be honest. Not too sure though.

Oh, ok. Maybe time will heal all wounds?
That's a good point. I mean I'm not a mind reader. I can't read how other people are feeling. Especially over the internet. I mean I'm always prepared to learn about the feelings of other people, but if I'm flying blind then I will fall awkwardly and be a mangled mess.
As someone who has been through heart breaks and has been let down by some... Family heartbreaks have stayed with me, and most likely always will, but you grow and adapt, and you somehow find peace. The other heartbreaks, over time, well for me, have become meaningless in some waysI don't believe in that time bullshit. People say it heals but I feel it always sits with you.
I like the one about one day being able to look back on it and wonder to yourself "what the hell was all of that about?" (not always, but often).I don't believe in that time bullshit. People say it heals but I feel it always sits with you.

perfectly said!Aw, thank you. I'm embarrassed now, lol!
I believe in this world you got to treat people how you would like to be treated. The whole world needs to be more understanding of others. I think we are too quick to judge.
Yeah I agree with sweetgeek. In time you do somehow grow, adapt and find peace to these things. It amazes me that I have got over some issues that went bad in my life. They were incredibly hard at the time but I think you move on, live life

That happens too but to reflect on it, it is still apart of you. I could be completely wrong but that is what I think anyway.
Some things will always be a part of you but it won't hurt as much as it did at the beginning.
Yes - I agree with that completely. I overthink a lot though so I should be over this one pretty quickly if I think about it all the time.
One day I will hopefully be like, "why am I thinking about this?"
