I had my first day of school today. It actually went really well, which I didn't wholly expect. I didn't even mind having to get up early!

At least I hope to god he wasn't learning about crows.
That is so great to here!!I'm so happy for you.
What is wrong with learning about crows? It is my opinion that everyone should learn about crows.
Thanks babes
Agreed. I'll march up to administration tomorrow and demand more crow information be taught.

Oh nothing.
It's just that it doesn't seem like there would be a whole degree dedicated to learning about crows...

Uni/TAFE? What are you studying?I had my first day of school today. It actually went really well, which I didn't wholly expect. I didn't even mind having to get up early!
Uni/TAFE? What are you studying?
Or in an Arena.
Uni/TAFE? What are you studying?
I'm studying Professional Writing and Editing. I'm not sure if that satisfies @reepbot's standards of liveliness.![]()
Just a Tiny Arena. A teeny tiny Arena. A Tiny Tina Arena.
What does professional writing mean? How does it differ from just writing? Is learning about editing hard? I'm not very lively, but I admire people who call themselves lively.
Well professional writing is basically just writing as a profession, which I suppose differs from just writing by way of payment! The course provides "industry knowledge" and whatnot. The class I had today was Nonfiction Elements which covers a broad spectrum of stuff—from writing speeches to writing instruction manuals, and anything else to do with nonfiction. I'll let you know how hard editing is once I've done a bit of it.
