Frocks, Frolics and Fotos

...haha... you posted just before me kxk while I was putting my post together... he might be in Downtown Abbey but we still don't know his name... you didn't say lol!... I better Google it lol!... cheers.

Looks like a dickhead.
I'm glad he's gone - he was never hot enough for Mary. The dead embassy guy was much prettier.

Here's some more of the Downton crew promoting in the US

Thomas & the Scottish housekeeper! Almost unrecognisable

Thomas - kind of hot, he has sweet eyes in his natural state; and wow doesn't she scrub up well!

Thomas is gorgeous! And so is Mrs Hughes, of course. I actually think Matthew was super hot when he carried a bit more weight.

Yeah - his name's Matthew or Mr Downton lucky pants. That's all that matters.

In real life? He's a nobody, never seen him before this show and don't care much if he disappears:)

Thomas has a lovely kind face doesn't he? And I have a bit of a soft spot for poor stupid Thomas.

haha his name is Dan Stevens. He also played Edward Ferrars in a 3 part series of Sense and Sensibility in 2008.

He's also in a movie called Summer in February that comes out soon in the UK i think. He looks more Matthew Crawley in this movie. It was shot when he was making the 3rd series of Downton

Kid is 18 months old, all excited to meet Iron Man - kid burst into tears when all he saw was RDJ, just a man!
Poor RDJ looks like he might cry too.

And apparently the kid was just fine as soon as RDJ began to talk, after all he's just a man for most of the movies isn't he?

Oh noooooooooooo

Magical Melbourne landmark - CLOSED!
018c_front3.jpg

They had fabrics jammed in there from the 30s & 40s. And every period drama ever produced in Oz shopped there.
Polish brothers who survived holocaust opened and ran the place, they were grumpy and funny, and threw you out for browsing - I got thrown out, as did Mick Malloy and tony martin.

it's an awesome old place, closed last June apparently - it is heritage listed and will be turned into restaurants and shops.
The brothers eventually owned 15 properties in the CBD - answers my puzzlement at how/why they kept this unprofitable place going so long.

Did you ever get chucked out/visit?

There's a rather delightful video about how Henry Cavill trained for his role :)

Caville's perfect for Superman, but isn't it funny that all the US comic book superheros are mostly played by Brits?

Ricki is gone - that was quick
