Frocks, Frolics and Fotos

...that's Helena Bonham Carter?... (methinks)... but is that Tim Burton???... it looks like him to me... hmmmm!... after second thoughts I don't think it is... who is he?... anybody?... cheers.

I love this pair. They couldn't give a flyng fuck for all that hollywood crap - they are middle aged punks, fabulous.
She will one day be Dame and age into a wonderful eccentric Dame...and be like Helen Mirren and that crew:)

I'm sorry ..but Hugh's wife is starting to look really really old :(

I think she looks brilliant for her age. She is about 13 or 14 years older than Hugh but I don't think she looks it. It's great to see someone owning up to being that age that she is.

More on Ageing :D

see Les Miserables tomorrow night, hope it lives up to the hype

I have not been to the movies since I went with my daughter to see the 1st Harry Potter movie in 2001 because I hate the seats. Wednesday night we are going to see Les Mis Gold Class. :D if I am not enjoying it I can just drink more vino.

wowwwwwwwww that is a very long time to not go to the movies :) just speaking as people who go 1-2 a week hehe :)

btw I just realised that your avatar is grumpy cat LOLOLOLOL love it.

I thought the Oscars were great from what I saw. Tina and Amy were hilarious.

...I went and saw it ...here is what I had to say about it in the '2013 Today I...' thread... to quote my own self so as not to have to re-write it again...

...Today I... went to the movies with my dearly beloved sweet wife... it was her turn to pick which movie we were going to see... (we alternate whose pick it is each time we go)... we went to see this...

...when she said that she wanted to see it I immediately said "Oh, okay... it should be a great movie"... (she loves Hugh Jackman)... inside I thought 'Oh, okay... it should be a great movie' in a more disenchanted tone... musicals are not my favourite genre...

...I love the 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' and the 'Little Shop of Horrors' and of course the 'Blues Brothers'' but other than that I'm kind of not into them... we watched it... OMFG!... what an amazing experience!!!!... I was totally turned around in my opinion of going to see musicals on the big screen... I will not let out a little sigh or groan again when my sweet wife chooses another movie like that again in the future...

... I knew that Hugh Jackman could sing but what shocked me the most is on just how great Russell Crowe sings in it!!!... yes... Russell 'Fifty Foot of Grunt' Crowe!!!... I won't say anything else about the movie in case I spoil it for people... all in all... a great surprise for me today... I'd even go and see it a couple of more times if my darling wife wanted to!... cheers.

...I highly recommend it... (not bad for someone that had to be dragged there to see it lol!)... cheers.
