The actress and singer has a successful line of women's team sports apparel, Touch By Alyssa Milano, and she was at Macy's in New York on Saturday promoting her garments as part of the store's Super Bowl celebrations.
She is credited for kick-starting fashionable fanwear for women that looks good outside the sports arena.
'You could identify her as the driver for what now is an accepted part of the business,' Tim Brosnan, MLB’s executive vice president told Bloomberg.
The very slender Charmed actress has been a sports fan all her life. She branched out into team fan wear for women after trying to buy a warm sweatshirt on a cold night in the Los Angeles Dodgers stadium eight years ago.
'I went into the store to get something warm to wear. And I was offended. The only colour available in women’s clothing was pink. Their answer for female sports apparel back then was "pink it and shrink it." It was either that or buy something from the kids’ section. Which I did. I got a kid’s hoodie.' In Dodger blue.

They looked like a Hollywood couple on the AACTA Awards red carpet in Sydney on Thursday night, but Sam Worthington is said to be embarrassed over his girlfriend's obsession with selfies.
'He wanted to rush her off and kept asking her 'what are you doing? Why are you doing that?' so she popped her phone in her clutch.'
It was also reported that Lara seemed out of her depth when introduced to producers and directors by Sam, and the A-listers were much more interested in talking to him that her.

I saw a snippet of them on the red carpet, they looked totally in lust, and she sounded totally moronic - worse than usual, like she was drunk or high.
