Agreed. From Launch Night last year I absolutely HATED the set. I was honestly convinced that it had to be just temporary but after a while I came back to reality and faced the fact that this was what I was going to have to look at for the next 3 months.
I know that many disagree with this but I felt that the 2012 set was much better just for the fact that it was so much more interactive with the eye at the back opening & closing and arrows leading the Housemates and Sonia to the front rather then just Sonia standing in front of a white screen.
I really pray that this years set will be the ultimate set ever seeing that the house looks so good. A house like that deserves a good set!

Yes, I really can't see Sonia fitting-in with the CH10 sets. Well, the 2005-2007 ones at least. A bucket of sparkle would be nice though!

Yes, I remember and have this downloaded on my phone, iPad and laptop. I also recall you Tweeting Alex with this. @marquisite YOU need to be put in charge of the set design team because simply, theirs suck compared to yours!

@marquisite this is completely off topic... but how are you meant to pronounce marquisite... its been bugging me for ages...
This was of much discussion on a certain BehindBB but non-BB podcast of the past
. Mar-quiz-it is wrong. Mar-cus-ite is also wrong. mar-ka-zeet is the correct pronounciation, but depending on one's accent mar-ka-sit is OK (well it is close enough).

I remember seeing that a long time ago and thought Nine should have done something like it since 2012 was the "return of BB". Instead they opted to produce a Launch show that could've aired in 2009 since there was no 'Yeah... we back' to it.
The only "callback" to the TEN-era was during the opening dance bit (which is also in that video at 0m48s) they added a single SFX from the 2003/2004 theme into the song.
Yes, I remember this from somewhere. I agree, very cool! I understood but didn't like the fact that there was no acknowledgement to previous series but I felt that what was shown in that video would have been perfect!

I was listening to the radio on the way home and Sonia came on and started talking about BB and said that they will have to make a big decision in front of the crowd live, Hmm. I didn't know which thread to put it in so i just put in the Eviction stage cause that's what it is about-ish
Maybe no news means the set is basically the same? The On-air presentation might not change much - I see the latest jump-in BB videos are using last year's purple graphics
