wdym? S2 official masters just went up on youtube.
I have been getting both tho, coz obviously uncut is missing but also expecting they would edit the masters and remove music and stuff.been focused on downloads so havent started watching yet. I actually havent really seen much before 2011 or 12 even so its gonna be so good to watch for the first time.

Parts are damaged, I wouldn't say most. I think 10 is doing the right thing by digitising them, but magnetic tapes only half a shelf life of about 20 years. If they weren't doing this now they'd be lost to time eventually. It's a shame they couldn't have done it earlier.

Oh has it been mentioned somwhere that there are damaged parts? But yeah I went digging in 2012 and bought some teriible quality dvds online that are just sitting in my storage locker in a box. Luckily I can chuck all them now. The downloading is taking a long time but so worth it. And yeah they shoulda started Youtube archivin back with the 2020 seasons. But luckily they are doing it now. Youtube Chanels have been getting bigger as TV alternative for throwback catch up lately. Power Rangers is doing the same with live and season playlists too. It is a good thing to have for classic shows that arent on streaming.

Yeah, several episodes spanning the whole season had tape "glitches"... which manifest as strange, "wobbly" visuals and audio drop-outs. It's a real shame... you'd think a TV network's archival efforts would amount to more than just... one tape. 😬 Keeping my fingers crossed that BB04 fares better, as it was my first series and I'd love to relive it.

Even DVD backups aren't necessarily a sure bet, by the way.

Oh thats annoying. I would have thought they keep their shows safe since they are really the only ones with them. I wish they would do a video hits youtube chanel too.
