Thank goodness it's over! After Ben's horribly ungracious treatment of Estelle tonight I've had about as much as I could take. Apologies for my periodic outbursts at the housemates who made life unpleasant for Estelle. I admire her so much and I admire most of you guys for remaining decent folks in spite of it all. I wish I could be that gracious. Lots of luck and love to everyone who has shared this roller-coaster ride.![]()
Well done guys! Honestly you have all been amazing!
thank you for taking the journey with us, moo. come back and give us a picture of you and the true winner once you're done celebrating
How disappointing. On one hand, it's so upsetting that the public would voe for a person like Ben to win.
But then I remind myself:
HE NEVER WOULD HAVE WON IF THEY HADN'T SHOWN THE PERCENTAGES.
ESTELLE IS THE RIGHTFUL WINNER OF BIG BROTHER 2012 AND WE SHOULD NEVER FORGET THAT.![]()
Ok he got the money. Big deal. Estelle, believe me, wins overall... the long haul folks.

But even amid the nostalgic flashbacks, staged performances and excitement from fans, there was still tension inside the Big Brother house in its final moments for 2012.
Shortly before she was evicted, Benjamin's dislike of Estelle was palpable, particularly after flashbacks showing him bitching about Estelle throughout the series.
So close to finishing line, Benjamin was unrepentant. "I meant every word I said" he declared. When Estelle seemed noticeably upset, Benjamin said "she plays the victim so well".
It seems being mean is no barrier to winning big on Big Brother.
20,000 people applied to be on the 2012 series of Big Brother. But only one 32-year-old from Victoria has the cash.
