Estelle appreacian thread (i can't spell)

With how much shit she's been put through in the house. The amount of support on here. The fact she only got that amount of votes... Clearly we're all different than the voting public. This bodes horribly for future evictions.

Yes it does indeed, in fact I am pretty sure Estelle will go this coming week. Especially if it's her, Angie and someone like Michael or even Bradley. The only reason I think she got by this eviction is because of the confrontation with Ben, if that had not happened the influx of support would have never happened and she would have gone. Next week I will still chuck a couple saves behind her but not like this week, it felt like she had momentum to stay this week whereas that will probably level out again.

Still she has done better than I imagined, I thought Eviction #4 was her swan song when it's probably Eviction #5. Which is not a bad innings at all! :)

Ben already tryna tell her what to do

Benjamin’s taken Estelle aside in the Bathroom, telling her she’s got the perfect chance to get to know her other Housemates better.

“I guarantee you 80 per cent of the House believe there is a popular group,” Benjamin tells Estelle. “But it’s an even playing field,” he wants her to get amongst the group this week.

“This gives you the opportunity to be like, ‘still here, want to get to know me?’”

Estelle tells Benjamin she won’t change who she is during her time in the House. “They’re a little bit rattled by me because they don’t understand me,” Estelle tells Benjamin of the other HMs.

“I think they’re waiting for me to do something so they can go, ‘now she makes sense’,” Estelle says that day won’t come.
Ben's advice is correct. Estelle needs to build a bridge if she wants to stay, but don't think she cares.

Why is it correct? Why does she have to be the one that builds the bridge?
She has every right to wipe her hands clean of these people, they've been nothing but rude pricks to her.

Ben needs to stop second guessing what he thinks the public want who is going to be evicted when nominated. he may be willing to try to be all things to all people, and a total tool, but I admire her for not. Build bridges indeed ! what a flog he is...grubby little man. I doubt there is anyone in that house with a pair that are useful.

I do think she will go this week but i hope she just has the best week and housemates leve her alone she can do what she wants she shouldn't hve to change for them

"For 4 points - I nominate Estelle, because she's isolating Ava and it's preventing me from building a relationship with her"

I can see it already.

Yep she'll be targetted again this week unfortunately! I am crossing everything that Ben is up, I think that's Estelle's best shot at staying. A lot of people have now seen Ben for the manipulative nasty person he is and want him gone and will save whoever he is up against. Also some chance against Brad, think the novelty of Brad has well and truly worn off.

I really don't understand what she did which is so bad.

I admire her for standing up for who she is.

She did nothing. It's just that there's some nasty hateful people in the house. Who needed targets for their hate. She was on the outer and so coped it. They then fed off that and grew it bigger. Then there's viewers who are unable to watch, observe and make up their own opinions just follow what housemates like Ben say as fact.

They're the ones on hear who use arguments like, "but they are in the house and said differently" or "you haven't seen everything you don't have any right to judge or have an opinion different than ben."

She's more than likely a pretty annoying person depending on your outlook in life.
As in, people refuse to accept others for how they are and how they interact, therefore getting more and more resentful until they're basically offended at this person merely breathing and refusing to see the good in said person.

Talking over the top of someone is a very annoying quality, but it's not something that creates a whole division in a group.
This is the crux of the Ben issue, that he constantly mentioned negative aspects about Estelle repeatedly and therefore making Estelle appear less and less likable as a person.

( I meant standing up not stand it, sorry :o)

Yes you are right. Some times I just wonder what people see. What Ben does it's so obvious. When he gives his one to one talk, he says “Some people think that” It is never him, and we can see that it is what HE says.

The people in the house don't see the lies, but people here, what are they watching?
I can see the manipulation and the lies, so why on earth can't they?

Even if it was one of my favourite HM, I would still be critical of what they do.

ps I liked Ben at the start, I don't like what he does now

she is the scapegoat for the whole house, as michael put it plain and simple.

to form groups is one thing, i dont like it but i understand and can live with it. but to live with the knowledge that injustice is done to someone yet not standing up to it, this crosses my line.
