Estelle appreacian thread (i can't spell)

if..? they'd better show it or i will start emailing ch9 or dob them to the broadcasting authority, there must be a code of conduct for this type of game shows. watching people being bullied and suffer shouldnt be ok. anyone remembering what happened on UK celebrity BB?

The Celebrity Big Brother racism controversy was a series of events related to incidents of allegedly racist behaviour by contestants on the television series Celebrity Big Brother 2007 shown on British television station Channel 4. The incidents centred on comments made by contestants on this reality television show, most notably the late Big Brother contestant Jade Goody, glamour model Danielle Lloyd, and singer Jo O'Meara, which were directed towards Indian actress Shilpa Shetty. The screening of these comments on UK television resulted in national and international media coverage, responses from the UK and Indian governments,[1] and the show's suspension during the 2008 season.[2] Many agencies and corporations cancelled their contracts with the housemates accused of racism, citing the allegations as the reason for the terminations. Also, many sponsors of the Big Brother series cancelled[3] or suspended[4] their sponsorship of the show.
After the show, Goody stated that she understood her comments appeared as racist and apologised for any offence caused.[5] Shetty later told the media that she forgave Goody.[6] After conducting an investigation, Ofcom ruled that Channel 4 had breached the Ofcom code of conduct, and statutory sanctions were placed on the network.[7]
 
Earlier I would have said that it was just that they simply didn't click with Estelle and thats just fine.

But now I think its at a point where she is obviously feeling a massive strain because of it. In that clip of Ben confronting her, she just breaks down at the beginning of what he's saying. From watching her previously she seems like she can handle a conversation where someone points out her faults but now it's just too much for her.

Yeah I definitely see it as bullying. And Ben needs to pull his head in (yet again).
 
The behaviour from Ben doesn't bother me, especially now Estelle has someone like Ava giving everyone a reality check. It's just exposing them for being nasty. I'd rather it played out organically like it is than there be intervention.
 
I can't believe how much this week, particularly last night's episode has shifted my opinion on Estelle and the other housemates.

Before I was indifferent to most of them and would not have cared if Estelle had left, whereas now I have realised just how horrible these housemates are in their treatment of her, led by their ringleader Ben. They are a bunch of bullying twats. I really want this week to be a shock eviction, where Estelle is safe and Angie is evicted. Angie herself isn't as bad as the other housemates, but out of the three who are up, she's the only one who I would be comfortable seeing go home. I don't want these bullies to feel vindicated in their behaviour by having Estelle evicted.

What makes these housemates think they can dictate who Ava spends her time with anyway? This douche group of housemates can't seem to comprehend that they are not as likeable as they think they are and that Ava does not want to join their "cool" group.

Estelle bought it all on herself. I appreciate her.....appreciate what a knobhead she is!

I completely agree. I never vote but am going to throw a few to Ray and Estelle.

they fail to see the 'bad term' is so one sided, estelle never declared a war on them. she is always on good term with all of them, not even said one bad word behind or in front of anyone.

I also think that any talk of intervention against Ben's behaviour is just absurd. If BB started clamping down on bitching behind people's backs, subtle exclusion and saying insensitive things to people's faces then the entire point of the show would cease to exist, and we would be left with nothing to watch other than the tasks Big Brother manufactures. Thanks to Ben's behaviour towards Estelle I now feel passionate about the show in a way I rarely have this season. I even SMS's 'ESTELLE' to 199 55 999 seven times (I don't know what came over me because I don't think I've ever voted more than once before, lol). The ability to illustrate the best and worst of humanity is what makes BB's potential so great!
 
All I am going to say is these ppl r so cruel I really feel for her through her while experience she only had Ryan Stan by her and actually get to know her!! So glad she's got ava that sticks by her she's a nice person u can c that how cruel can ppl get! Get me so sad!!
 
Angie joins Zoe, Michael, Stacey and Benjamin at the rear of the Backyard and they get talking about what seems to be the biggest issue in the House - Estelle.

Angie instigates, saying if she is Evicted this week, she wants to leave knowing she at least tried to be on good terms with Estelle. She asserts that she wants to "Make her realise what she's doing is horrible for her[self]", expressing that she actually feels sorry for her. "One last go; one last try and knock a little bit of sense into her" she finishes her outburst.

Getting off topic, Stacey's worried she's going a little bananas. "I said hair-port instead of airport and generally thought it was the right thing" she admits, believing the lack of contact with the outside world is making her go crazy.

Hopefully Angie being evicted with knock some sense into these bitchy cows!!

What is Angie on about?

As far as Estelle knows they are on good terms. She is showing herself to be one of the most 2 faced. I will be so annoyed if Angie stays over Estelle.
 
3 Great Things If Estelle Stays -

1. The look on the rest of their faces will be classic! They have written her off for sure!
2. Ben knows he is copping 4 votes next week from Estelle.
3. Estelle nominating Ben next week. She thought he was a friend. Now knows what hes all about!

Wonder what happened or is happening for it to be removed?

Just noticed that! If they don't show that tomorrow night (a big moment in the day) that will be infuriating as they are obviously editing it how they like. They better show it.

wow, interesting, last time i checked, was only 1000+ viewing, not that crushing hot, so mmmm........ why oh why? maybe they took it to the cutting room for some ben friendly editing?
