Estelle appreacian thread (i can't spell)

I want to see the footage they're talking about with the flirty stuff. I don't get the feeling we're being shown everything this season.

These housemates r pissing me off!! She can't e friends with anyone without thinking she's flirting? Give the girl a break!!! I just wanna see the look on Ben and Stacey's face when Sonia tells estelle she's safe!!!

Poor Mangie is just one of those girls who are threatened by anyone they perceive as having more pussy power than them. She didn't throw any crap Stacey or Zoes way as she saw them as beneath her. We all know types like her in real life.

I think alot of the stuff she was saying about Estelle were actually projections of her own faults. The talking over people would be a prime example, also the lack of female respect thing was Angie and hickeygatelaylastuff.

I mean who out of both of them is more likely to sleep with their friends partners? We all know who has the most integrity.

Agree.

I think because she hooked up with Ryan early on, it set an idea about her. With every guy it's constantly been, "keep Estelle away." It's jealousy. Part of it also is, Estelle has survived despite being disliked so they have to come up with reasons why.

I think the fact Sam came in and easily made friends with her made this worse. Even then though, the "Estelle Sam " thing was simply her just being friendly and friends. Remember when Estelle became friends with Ava people characterized it as her some how stealing Ava away. Tricking her, doing wrong by Ava.

So I think the very fact of Estelle talking to a guy is seen as wrong, because Estelle deserves nothing, not even friendship in the minds of some people in the house. This got shown with out a doubt when she befriended Ava.

There is a video on the OS where Michael is saying that he doesn't care if they fail the task. I really hope he does something stupid and speaks to one of the guests and BB puts him up for eviction. Considering there was meant to be nomination consequences.

Viennamoo, do you know if Estelle watched all previous series if big brother? Just wondering if she's going to know who all these unwelcome guests are.

she will know who Ray is :)

Oh yeah definitely! Lucky Ray going back in (wish they could send Ryan in and Bradley though too). Hope he hypes it up. Maybe get into the food again!

Just supposedly they're sending Peter in from first series and Nathan from second and Regina from third, fitzy/fryzie/ryan already gone in and there's Vesna and Tim going in, etc.

Isn't Peter a TV exec, maybe with the nine network? I remember him as if it was yesterday as he had a house relationship with Christina my favourite of that series she was once a ballerina and now a comedienne, she would of been good to re-enter. I also love Vesna and will be great to see her too.

I wonder why they didn't get Ryan? Just to see how Estelle reacts. :)

To be honest, I don't no if she has watched them. I can't see Estelle being an avid reality TV show watcher, but I could be wrong

Someone in another thread just repeated the verbatim line from housemates that Estelle has no social skills.

Now while these falls completely into my observation that some viewers literally don't observe and just repeat housemates opinions.

It does make me think, does Estelle really lack social skills?

Also what does that mean? As far as social skills, she's able to live in a house around people who don't like her. Yet be completely fine around them. Isn't that a better social skill than people who have to hate and be irritated by anyone they don't like? Isn't that attitude the definition of bad social skills? As they can't be social, or only when they are pretending and being fake.

I think we've seen plenty of times Estelle has fine and normal conversational skills. So what does a housemate like Michael mean when he says she lacks social skills?

Any excuse to nominate her will do...

Yeah but like everything, there would be a basis.

I'm leaning to it seeming that she is willing to state her opinion when others disagree. Then the fact she just doesn't quite fit in with the group as being the only reasons. Which is neither here nor there for social skills.

It means it bugs him that Estelle can see through his BS and doesn't fawn all over him like the Ben & Stacey do.

I wonder if part of it is that she will not bow down to his opinion being the final word.

With all the talk of how they think they are better. A big part of it could be not accepting their perceived social hierarchy of them being better.

Exactly. I used to know a guy with a very similar personality to Michael. He was very witty and very charming but always had to feel like he was top of the pile and almost all his social interactions were in some way a reinforcement of his status among the group. In the end I realised that he was actually quite selfish. Actually, the more I think about it, it's uncanny how much they both remind me of each other.

Anyway. Yes, Michael needs Estelle to be a good little disciple and laugh at his jokes, and give him approval and praise. She has never done that so he sees her as the enemy. He's quite blind to his own faults, much more than Ben.

Don't you think that Michael is aware that Estellle's IQ may be a lot higher than he thought.
It would give him grief to lose to Estelle.

I think he is playing the odds game, nominated for so many times, Estelle will surely be evicted soon because the viewers wont want to continue spending their money to save her.
