Estelle appreacian thread (i can't spell)

Never liked Layla, she'll just go whatever direction the wind is blowing. Same with Zoe really. Sam I think is probably ok but tactically he had to get himself stuck to Layla, bet he hates it poor guy.

If Estelle gets evicted tonight, the silver lining is that she won't have to put up with the crap inside the house any longer from small-minded people who can't deal with an attractive, intelligent, individualistic woman. I actually fear for her sanity a bit, staying in that toxic environment. She has already had to bottle up so much of her true self to try and be accepted, which can't be healthy.

I do wonder about one thing, though... her love of hip hop, a culture not exactly known for its respect of women, and then hitching herself to an alpha tosspot like Michael at the first sign of interest from him; perhaps, due to lack of self-esteem or whatever, she is one of those women who is drawn to the wrong kind of bloke - someone who attracts drama into her life.

She's certainly an intriguing woman with many facets, most of them beautiful and life-affirming, and for that reason alone I hope she can survive in the house - with her sanity intact! :)
 
You could be reading too much into it. On the outside she might not even be interested in Michael, but in the house you need some fun and company with whoever you can get it. And maybe she just likes the fashion image and beat of hip hop than anything deeper.
 
I like Estelle, but it seems like she can get hurt very easily so she hides her opinions and feelings. She is going to need to toughen up if she wants to be a lawyer. If she goes tonight, or does not win Bigbrother it's likely to be because the general public feels she holds back too much of herself.
 
I'm thinking BB would prefer if Stacey was the one to leave tonight.

If it's either Estelle or Ben, it leaves a huge gap in the show, a lot of people will lose interest.

I am just stunned at how carried you all get about a girl you'll never know. even though you've seen her on BB, you dont know what she is really like, even though you may think you do. I know that its entertaining for you guys, which is fair enough. BB is entertainment for me too. But you all just get too carried away

You only get a text for the first vote you put in for that weeks nominations.
If you read the text it is a little unclear, same happened to me but for the following weeks nominations when I sent in my first vote I got a text again but only for the first one not the rest.

Is that clear as mud? I tried.

Well, someone got out of the bed on the wrong side this morning, didnt they darling. I hope you have someone special in your life to pull the splinters out for you?The majority of the ppl posting in this thread appear to be quite delusional to be honest. With all their conspiracy theories, and strange, made up reasons for why Stella acts in a way they dont like. " Oh it must be her fault, or it must be his fault!!!" "It couldnt POSSIBLY be Estelles fault" LOL.

Now you best go have a good lie down and rest up for this evenings festivities TraiLer. Theres a good girl :D

Yet it's you that is repeatedly posting in Estelle related threads and aggressively insulting members for merely liking the girl - Which is, ironically, what Ben and Michael fans whinge about.

You would think if you disliked Estelle so much, you'd simply avoid any positive threads about her and just post in Estelle hate threads instead.
You come off looking obsessive and weird.
 
i think there were two big turning points for estelle this season

the first was ben's confrontation with her (and eva) on the couch. I saw a lot of people wake up to how badly she was being treated, (and how nasty ben was being) and as a result decide to give her a second look.

the second was dinner with surly. estelle absolutely shined in that interaction, being intelligent, witty, playful and genuine. I saw a lot of people open up to what a good person she was, and set aside the questions about her "weirdness" (and/or shake off the implanted negativity from the toxic trio)

there were other things, but these moments will stand out as pivotal in her survival and momentum building for the season.

fingers crossed for tonight. me and mrs riddim are planning to watch live to do some additional last minute voting if the bottom two are close (as opposed to record it and watch it later, skipping sonia and the repeititive bits)

Estelle has no choice, she is one tough cookie make no mistake.
Look at the other HMs and what they get upset about.
Any minor thing turns into a drama, Estelle just keeps on sailing.
Yes she is holding back but only because she knows it bothers them for her to be herself.
She is living with people that don't want her there, so she tones it down. Not everyone can do that.
That my friend is strength!!!
