Ed's malevolence

•In today's episode..gold room..JadEd in bed...Jade wants Mikkayla to think Ed loves her by telling her Ed has a pet name for her (My Lady Jady), KNOWING that it was a Surly task and Ed is not allowed to reveal that. (SneakY)

I don't think the actual nickname had to be kept a secret; just the fact that it came from Surly.

The only thing that scene demonstrated was his complete unwillingness to say those 3 small words! And Jade thinks it is cute! (I actually noticed in the GoE when Surly told him to tell Jade he was dressed as a girl twin he changed it to be only 'sometimes', he is so insecure it ain't funny) Seriously how long did that go for with Mikkayla randomly guessing every word under the sun!? It's like he thinks it is the equivalent of saying 'I do'
 
I didn't want to, but I laughed out loud at the mole comment. Actually your whole post is funny.

Yeah that's what I was trying to say. Jade wanted Mikkayla to think that it was Ed's own idea to call her Jady Lady giving the impression he likes her. She knew Ed couldn't deny it and say..."No.. I don't like her...Surly made me do it". I sort of fast forwarded through the date as it was a snoozefest...

I was kinda disappointed that Surly didn't make Ed look more silly than he did and certainly had the potential to but then again, no matter what he did and how bad it was, I bet Jade would still have said "awww that's so cute".

  • Ed is worn down and, given statement above, starts kissing her more often (usually late night feast after many drinks)
  • Ed continues to sleep in his bed, and Jade keeps jumping into bed with him and kissing him while he ignores her by pretending to sleep (awkward AND if gender roles were reversed a guy could get into a lot of trouble for being so aggressive with a female and jumping into her bed when she is not interested)
  • Ed tries to vote Jade out because it's the only way he can get rid of her without looking like the jerk who keeps breaking her heart. Tim saves her (awkward)
  • Ed eventually realizes this girl is not going to give up and it might help his game so he starts sleeping in her bed .. He's clear he can't promise anything after show...
  • After their date, Jade tells Ed "I hope to keep you on the outside, sorry if you don't want to hear that." ...No Response from Ed

While I think that Ed was in a very awkward position, he should have stuck to his guns and not engaged with her. I also think it's very interesting that in the beginning Jade had no interest in Drew, said he was not his type and even mocked him for having "stinky hair", YET today, when Drew asked her if Ed was her type, she said no, Drew was more her type.... WHAT is this girl on?? :confused::confused::confused:

EDIT: Today Jade/Madeleine in bathroom and Jade questions whether Tim's interest in boog is genuine or game play, but can't seem to grasp that Ed's just not that into her and it's all a game.

This is the way I see it...but it seems to most people that HE is the one doing the wrong thing. If the roles were reversed you could understand, but the guy can't get away, Jade is so determined.

he doesn't, but he is using her for TV time and for her friends after his were all gone ...if he was a good person he would have told her clearly he didn't want anything more from her than friendship and not drunk dialed her not made out with her not asked for date time when he was on his way out etc etc

Yes but Tim liked Lucy..she told him to his face he needed kissing lessons,Tim likes Boog..she said it was not going to happen
Ed doesn't like Jade,what does he say..nothing,he attempts to mumble a explanation..Man up Ed I mean seriously,he is one of those guys
date's a girl and then never calls her...he needs to grow a pair and tell her "Jade,I just want to be your friend" or 'Jade I don't like you in that way" and 'Jade we will never be a item in the real world"....does he No?....so he is just as much to blame as she is

She may say this but it is pretty damn obvious to all and sundry that she is lying her ass off. I think even SpecialEd knows that.
