He's basically stringing a nice girl along in order to try to win $250k? What sort of person does that?
This is the sort of footy played behaviour we've read so much about in recent years. Just no conscience whatsoever.

EDouche needs to flush on out of the house with Surly. He's a NASTY piece of work.

I would say it's malevolence if he was emotionally leading her on..which he's definitely not. But then again leading her own physically is kind of treating her like a whore...and it's on TV. It is a unique situation (Jade being very persistent) but he should have been a man and told her straight up he doesn't want anything instead of letting her make a fool out of herself.

If Ed refused to make out with a hot girl like Jade. The whole country would be saying he is gay.

Like most girls, she probably doesn't separate the physical attention from the emotional. She thinks if she shows emotional and physical interest, he will wake up and realise how great she is to him and love her back. It never, ever works like that. He knows he won't change his mind but he's not telling her. When they both leave the house and he moves on to other girls, she will feel distraught. He knows what's going to happen and he doesn't care about her feelings. He's such a douche.

BUt I don't think he finds her that attractive? He was never attracted to her (it's not her personality that turned him off). She's just not his type.

This whole Showmance thing has been so hard to watch and now we've got yet another week of it. More clips of Jade grabbing Ed head for the unwanted showstopping kiss *cue the audience* Ooooooooo, with Ed's arms firmly pressed against his sides. The retarded play fighting because they've got nothing to say to each other and Jades continuous drooling over Ed's perfection. God kill me now.

He wouldn't be kissing her if he didn't find her hot. I doubt he would be kissing Makkayla if she was single.

Ed's not perfect. I look at his physique and I think "God, he's vain", not "Phwoar". And he converses like a footy commentator - cliched and trite. I look at guys like him and I think, "for goodness sake, get out of the gym and read a book once in a while!"

I think Ed is starting to like Jade (not as much as she likes him) but much more than he did in the beginning. If you think about it, she's all he has in the house. He doesn't get along with Tim, has nothing in common with Ben, has nominated Drew and Mikkayla almost every week and Tahan is a big hot-n-cold. He's holding onto Jade for dear life.

The whole date thing was obviously not to impress Jade, but to tie in with the whole date comp that his family is running. He already has Jade hook, line and sinker. He didn't need to impress her with a date. He didn't even seem lovey dovey with her or tell her that he's falling for her etc. What was the point of it except for Ed to show what a gentleman he can be on a date to woo the female voters. I think BB realised it was a part of his strategy when he Ed started asking if he could take Jade on a date weeks ago, which is why BB hadn't let him do it - until they came up with the idea of Surly running it and making it difficult for Ed for a laugh! Ed is just using her. I have no doubt that Jade will throw herself at him once they are both out, and he will sleep with her, but it will be all over after that. He'll tell her that they will always be good friends but he doesn't want a relationship and he will break her heart. We'll all be reading about it in New Idea in no time.

Oh god, I don't know if I can stand another week of them. They are actually worse than Drully. Jade is an interesting, intelligent person despite what she thinks of herself and its painful to see her lose her head and all self-esteem for such a LOSER who is clearly only using her for extra airtime and storylines. Just like his fake 'cards'/'bringing down Tim' storyline Ed keeps hyping, the whole thing is never going anywhere.

The 'date' was the worst episode this year! Why does Alex get off on this forced romance storylines? Its always so embarrassing and juvenile.

Does Steve Waugh's Ashes Diary count as a book? Technically it's a diary but if you read between the lines it's also a book!
