Ed and the rose petals

Notice that last time Ed was up for eviction he conveniently requested the date with Jade and this time its the plastic rose petals for gold room? Coincidence that both special occasions were the eve of an eviction he is nominated for?

Could he be any more transparent about it!? Absolutely pathetic when you have to use a fake relationship to keep you in the game because you yourself are so damn boring! Using a girl (who is out of this world besotted) who you really dont give a shit about to advance yourself in the game goes against the "gentleman" tag he boasts of having. Many would respect him more if he outright said hes playing it this way but instead he goes about it trying to stay looking like the upstanding white knight.

To think this latest stunt, like the garden of Eden tactic will get him across the line again! Far out when will he finally leave? With the 250,000 in pocket?
 
If he really wanted to do something special for Jade, he would have asked Tahan not to come in surely?? He's like that's alright, stay. Weirdd.
 
I thought it was sweet but who really knows what his intentions are? He is the only one that truly knows

Tahan asked if she could stay with them due to her challenge. I don't even like Ed but he was just being NICE, he wasn't exactly going to tell her to fuck off although that's probably what he was thinking.
 
its the act of putting the rose petals on the bed thats deemed romantic in Jades eyes, and to get him votes...by having Tahan there he wont have as much pressure to perform with Jade...although later they had good chat
Tahan was being the 3rd wheel though for her task, so was hanging around on her own accord

last time it was the garden of eden date, this time romantic setting in gold bedroom to try get save votes
 
I'm not convinced the goe date was actually Ed's idea. We saw no real evidence he initiated it. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was Surley's or BB's idea.
 
Tim told Drew that Ed had asked BB about taking Jade on a date in the GOE, earlier that week but the date didnt happen until closer to the eviction night..BB mosty likely did that to help with save votes, since Ed was fave to go that week, and BB still wanted the JadEd storyline.

maybe BB put the idea into Eds head though about asking? Ed wont have to give a Jade real date outside the house, like when he was asked by Jade in the hotseat q's.

the week matt and ed were up, they had their bromance marriage
 
Ed is running out of time... how many cards does he still have unused? he needs to use his Ace of Hearts like NOW!
 
The plastic bag rose petal idea was pretty cute. It makes me sick to feel that way.
 
Yeah, I feel his motives were much bigger than pleasing Jade.

Not to sound like a rabid Jade fan (I'm not especially one) but I am almost considering that Ed is developing feelings of sorts for Jade. Nothing on par with what she has for him, but maybe she has grown on him, so to speak. I don't know, I guess its all just very convenient for him. As Tim and Tahan were saying, who wants to be with someone who came around to liking you, eventually? After 90+ days of captivity together... hmmm.
 
Ed must have asked big brother for a romantic idea.
I can't imagine that he thought of it himself.

EXACTLY what I said to my Husband after tonight's daily show! Aside from one detail.....

Both times Ed has set up his "date' to look like a gentleman to the vulgar masses, Big Brother has taken the opportunity to undermine Ed's efforts. Surly took the wheel on both occasions......
If Ed thought he'd get airtime and look romantic, Tahans 'third wheel' task put an end to that!

I just hope it'll be enough to get him (or Jade,or both) the BOOT!
