Ed and the rose petals

Boy there are some cynical folks on here. Their love is real, its a fairy tale. Isn't it very girl's dream to have a football playing romeo?
You people are sad... (It's hard to write in sarcasm tone) I'm over the romantic BS. It seemed so set up and agree the Ed more than likely asked if he could do it, so BB then got surly to ruin it for them.
But really they are in love you can see ita match made in Dreamworld Meat head and Deluded dish, a perfect match

They said he'd been asking BB for a date but showed no footage of it

I'd like to believe that this really isn't unusual behavior its just that BB are deciding to show more because he's up for eviction, but I think that would just make me as nieve as jade :(

Using a girl (who is out of this world besotted) who you really dont give a shit about to advance yourself in the game goes against the "gentleman" tag he boasts of having. Many would respect him more if he outright said hes playing it this way but instead he goes about it trying to stay looking like the upstanding white knight.

To think this latest stunt, like the garden of Eden tactic will get him across the line again! Far out when will he finally leave? With the 250,000 in pocket?

At least this time it was a couple minute segment that was more focused on Tahan anyway.

Yes I was thinking the same. They would have showed him in the diary room "asking many times" if it really was his idea.

Yeah, I'm kinda hating myself right now too. Sooooo lame but there's a cuteness to it. Maybe they're going for that kitch/ABBA/the whole 70's thing where it's so lame that it's come back round to cool again. So close, but sooooooo very, very far.

A seriously pathetic attempt to get votes. AND what grown man is seriously that bad at laying rose petals????? I'm not even giving him any points for trying, the whole thing just sucked.
Oh, and I can't even say "it's the thought that counts" BECAUSE ITS ALL A LOAD OF SHIT!! Ahh!!!

Not to sound like a rabid Jade fan (I'm not especially one) but I am almost considering that Ed is developing feelings of sorts for Jade. Nothing on par with what she has for him, but maybe she has grown on him, so to speak. I don't know, I guess its all just very convenient for him. As Tim and Tahan were saying, who wants to be with someone who came around to liking you, eventually? After 90+ days of captivity together... hmmm.

The rose thing was a gag for TV.
She has grown on him like a fungus.
He has become more involved with her but "he is going to drop her like 6th period French" as soon as he walks out the door.

Stockholm Syndrome - I think Ed has been the walking dead for weeks now when it comes to Jade.
There you go ladies, all you need is persistence with a guy you like, lay all over him, tell him he is "cute" for every little stupid thing he does, Oh and the main ingredient, you will need a BB house, where your man can't get away from you.

Yes and how ironic that on the same day he wants a 'date', BB decides to do the 'third wheel' challenge with Tahan. I found watching Tahan stay with them entertaining but the whole thing had a ring of 'don't believe it'

Jesus, so much anger.

Just to explain the bad lay out unless he sat there there and separated them one by one the plastic would have tended to stick together. From memory he kind of just sprinkled them on quickly which may have caused static build up.

It sounds like someone wants Ed to sprinkle small cut up pink plastic bits on her bed and not Jades.

There weren't nearly enough plastic petals to make it work as a romantic gesture. It was a half-assed effort which made it all the more cringeworthy.
 
I'm not being sarcastic ... I thought it was sweet and clever. I liked it. Ed was showing he has some creativity and a romantic side. I think it was really nice and it helped show him and more than a one dimentional guy who wants to run from Jade.

UGH, I couldn't think of anything worse.

He could have easily maneuvered them into a heart shape, I wonder why he didn't do that....
