Drew = young Keanu Reeves

I think he saved Jade because he realized his 2 votes nominated her since she tied with Tim, and he really does consider her a friend in the house...he didn't want to appear to let her win the ice comp since she was obviously way behind him anyway

Trust me people..you cannot rely on this one moment of kindness and SANITY to prevail...do not fall for it, he WILL let you down again.

OMG! Thank you so much for saying this!
I've been trying to put it into words for weeks!!!
It is as if he "REFLECTS" the personality he is associating with at the time. And while he has fallen deep down a well of whining and despair, we would have to account for the negativity he has placed himself in jeopardy with as of late.

With Jade, we all came to love and adore him. He was giving and funny to all the HMs at all times, even when he knew certain HMs (during the marriage challenge were trying to suss them out) he would think of positive ways to re-track their thinking when speaking to Jade.

With Tim, he's the funny prankster without malcontent. We enjoy their hijinks, discussions and laughter.

With Ben, even in the epi tonight, he takes on the role of Gentleman above board and the joys of life.

With the gym rats, he's a man's man, that they can work out with any day of the week and seem to all enjoy his company.

With The HM that he has chosen to bed at night, well now.... ain't this a doozey! The more she administers her Succubus powers, the weaker and weaker he becomes. To the point where he is whiney and has no self respect.

The "chameleon" factor must work well for him in reality outside the house. It did inside the house, till the different personality factors started colliding. And as a Chemical engineering student, he knows that no good can come from negative and positive forces being placed in direct line of each other. THIS is where his personality fails him the most. Unfortunately, he has let the negative take him.

In Drew's defense ... Im actually similar in the way i am. I have people who im fun around, people im serious around, grumpy around etc ...

Its not shifting who he is, its the person with him who opens that part of his personality. He isnt pretending or acting.

was simply stating that he has a reflective personality and that does work for him, till his different friends he has reflected quarrel or disagree with him present, cause then he shuts down.
now the whole "reflecting" emotional trauma thing, that's on him. he knows, at least inside the house, that behavior is not acceptable or is unfavorable to other hms. that is all I was saying.

certainly, if you were with friends, and they decided to rob a store, you surely wouldn't say "ok, i'm with you, I am you, I will rob the store too." get what i'm saying ?

He doesn't shut down when people disagree, the whole house is as tim says "walking on egg shells" around Tully, and as this is a competition he cant exactly run around disagreeing with everyone, otherwise then he would be in Tullys situation.

He even said to tahan, im in way over my head here, or words like it.

But anyhow as for the reflecting, as i said its not reflecting someone else's personality or feelings, its actually who he is. He was sitting out there banging on a vase like a drum the other day by himself before Tim came out and made a didgeridoo ... Would that make Tim a reflection of Drew ? Nope

sorry but all i could think after that drew/tully/tim fight was the only reason drew didn't get up and go after tully was because he probably had a boner. lol. srsly tho, we all know he told jade last night how he LOVES the drama, which shows me his immaturity. he deserves everything he gets with tully, and then some.

Someone can like a bit of drama, but not necessarily like the extremes to which Tully takes it. He could prefer an interesting verbal sparring partner over a girl like, say, Lucy, I love the drama, but Tully gives bad drama. Just selfish, childish, self-centred drama. Well, not only that, but largely that, often that. There is exciting, intense, insightful and edgy conversation, then there is the bitchy abuse she is subjecting him too.

I have this weakness for drama myself, and, yeah, it is immature, but some people like intense conversation, and some like someone who will always agree with them.

k. you aren't seeing what i'm saying and that's cool. so I guess you would rob the store, so anywhoo
yes it was GREAT seeing him escape her clutches to have that moment with Tim. but to answer your question, I saw that as two friends interacting in a carefree moment. each having their own personality in that moment.

Love Drew for saving Jade and putting Matt up very good choices , and for sharing the PR with Ben for the evening....Hey none of this involved Tully....looks like he's improving already

So glad Drew is taking baby steps to make changes, I was so relieved to see him take this opportunity to separate himself from Tully and take Ben in the PS.
Tully had to make her little comment about the PS, something like.... this might have been our last chance to be together.
Does she ever give up? Nag, nag, nag!!!!!!

I can only hope that Drew will continue to make changes to distance himself from Tully so they can each stand on their own.

I have no doubt that the reason Drew got so pissed about Matt and Ed suggesting the emotional cheating question is because he knows it's true and he's gotten defensive. If anything he knows that it's become actually cheating. Both he and Tully would prefer to stick their heads in the sand and try to deflect blame on Matt and Ed rather than admit that what they're doing is wrong.

Drew said himself to Jade the other night that he loves the drama. I have a feeling the fact that Tully is in a relationship and is supposedly a lesbian is drawing Drew in more than Tully herself is if that makes any sense. I have little doubt in my mind that if Tully had gone into the house as a single, straight girl that Drew wouldn't have the same attraction for her. Their interactions lead me to believe that it's not so much Tully that Drew is attracted to, but more the drama that follows her everywhere.

This is obviously a habit that he's developed in other relationships (he told Jade as much). It's something he'll grow out of eventually. I think a lot of people eventually have the realisation that the excitement associated with drama gets old very quick and you eventually want to be with someone that you have a natural rapport with.

I think he saved Jade to show Mr Perfect up as the jerk he is to a) the rest of the HMs, b) Jade (oh-so-innocent leading conversation to Jade afterwards, "Why is Ed so pissed at me?"), c) the viewing public.
The still a friend stuff is reeling in all those who are willing to automatically forgive Drew at the first sign of "what appears to be" semi-decent and/or funny behaviour and believe that Tully is solely responsible for everything being the evil cult leader/mind controller that she is. He plays the victim for the cameras really well when being counselled by Tahan etc too. Poor Drew!
As for the ice comp in the Games and not wanting to appear to let her win as he was too far ahead...he was not too far ahead at the beginning of that challenge. He started that game determined to win and he won. If he didn't want to, he wouldn't have. Simple. He planned to do everything he did before he won the games, and no amount of throwing the medal in the pool and feigning disgust at having victory thrust upon himself changed that.
I hope Ben gets to see the footage of who nominated him when he's fake evicted.

I trust you. You had me at sanity... ;)
Hahaha Or is that INsanity? :p I am slightly mad, but you know that :D

ABSOLUTELY! He is becoming verrry transparent and easy to read now. I totally agree with your view of him.

I see it the exact same way. It didn't really make a difference for Jade because either way she was safe no matter which one of them won the final. However by Drew winning it allowed him to deliver a killer blow to Ed, not only by showing him up in Jade's and the viewers' eyes, but by also making it harder for him to stay by putting up his twin in Matt. Drew definetly wanted to win. He hates Ed with a passion. Not sure where it came from. Whether it's just differences in personality or deep-seeded Jade issues I don't know.

I agree with you on this. I think him and Tully both think they are getting away with a lot of the "I love you's" that they mouth to each other. It would be a thrill for them to think they can get away with so much without anyone noticing. Now that people are starting to call them out things are unravelling however and they dont like it. It will still keep them together though because they only have each other to go to when the others start pointing fingers at them for the cheating.

Absolutely. I also have no doubt in my mind that if BB told Tully that Tahlia had broken up with her, and they knew that everything was out in the open and that nothing was stopping them from properly being together, that they'd fizzle. Because without that drama, and without that excitment of thinking they're keeping it a secret, it's just Drew and Tully so to speak...and from what I've seen from their interactions I don't think they have enough natural spark or chemistry to stay interested without the drama.

nonetheless, he is a good game player, and I prefer to give him the benefit of the doubt

Tully might be a crazy, psycho bitch, but I almost dislike Drew even more.Playing the victim whenever Tully goes off one of her rampages even though he's equally culpable in the cheating; nominating Jade and then saving her so he looks like a hero; snitching to Matt and Ed when he doesn't even like them - he's a little snake and not a fun one either.

Funny how lots of posters condemn Tully as a fruitloop - and condemn Drew along with her.
So if she is a fruitloop, totally nutso, well then isn't Drew the good guy trying to help someone BB should remove, according to everyone she's insane - you can't blame him then.

Anyway, the I like drama, is one of the strangest things I have ever heard a BB male state about themselves, also that he is self aware.
Wow, he must have some fun days.

He's 24 right? Tully is 26. Is that right?
