Drew = young Keanu Reeves

Yeah, I doubt you'd be telling all and sundry that you were entering the BB house, especially an ex. It's probably best that she's overseas, and can't see what a tool he's been making of himself. That would be the final nail in the coffin of the relationship, even if the idea was to rekindle things once she returns from her travels. Although Google will be the enemy, you can't escape your internet footprint once you've done Big Brother. Maybe he thought entering under a false name might avoid too much dirt being cast upon your name.

I don't think she chose a holiday over him. She's doing what a lot of people her age do - travel overseas. It doesn't mean you don't love your partner. But yeah I don't have any issue with him not telling her because it is supposed to be kept a secret although as we've heard from other friends and family they knew before the HMs went in. Her aunt also said that she had Maddy's permission to post all that stuff so for whatever reason her and her family are pissed off.
 
Isn't a good thing that he broke up with his GF before entering the house? Better then not breaking up and cheating on your girlfriend on TV. They are both young, possibly not shacked up/engaged etc. There are plenty of fish in the sea and all that. Now if only Tully had thought ahead about how committed she was to relationship before entering.

For some that much time away is a major deal breaker. I'm not one to judge what others hold as important and clearly to drew being away for that long isn't acceptable. I've known girls breaking up for the exact same reasons as drew; 3 months isn't something to sneeze at. Plenty of time to be tempted over in europe or wherever she was going and cheat, so I can understand why a guy (or girl) would have none of it.

Maybe he wasn't accepted initially....didn't him and Jade come in shortly after the other HG's ....maybe there the intruders????
 
3 months away from the love of your life and you fold, why? Unless it was to emotionally blackmail her into not going. Let's hope drew never "falls in love" with a soldier....he can't be alone for 5 minutes it seems.

Give him a break - he's 24 years old - he's a baby and will probably fall in and out of love a dozen more times before he settles down. I think people have forgotten what it's like to be in their 20's.

Sound like he broke up, she was going away for 3months & so was he, what's the problem? 3months is forever in your 20s.
But - sounds like he regrets it, and possibly only realised this after she was gone......you know how that goes.
 
A lot of forum members appear to have abandoned Drew but I still think he is a chill guy. I love whenever he is having a laugh with Ben. Tully, of course, is his downfall but I think I can forgive him for that mistake. Maybe Tahlia can't though and that's fair enough.
 
Yeah, I still really like drew. Tully is dragging him down. When drew is with jade, Tim or Ben he is great! I hope they are the final four, and Tully goes ASAP.
 
I like him too! He has a bit of the 'white knight' syndrome (see: Jade and Tully) but whatever, he's young. I think he's hilarious and not too hard on the eyes!
 
I'll be honest and say I really don't like him anymore.

Don't really have an issue with him and Tully but it's more the way he's become weak and a backstabber since the association began. You can tell that Mikkalya genuinely adores and trusts him but he's run to the "other side" and snitched on her on repeated occasions. That's his choice and if it's the way he wants to play that game then so be it, but I find it a very unattractive quality in a person. If he wants to bitch about her then good for him, but don't let her go on thinking you're on her side and her friend. Same with Jade, if you have a problem with her then say as much so she knows where you stand. Don't let her go on adoring you and thinking you have her back but then nominating her and laughing behind her back every chance you get.
 
Did you see the look on his face when Ben was leaving and said he would enjoy his birthday on the outside? That is the face of someone that cares about other people. He knew Ben wanted to spend his birthday in the house and was devastated for him. I wait with interest to see his reaction when Ben comes back. I think Drew is one who will be genuinely happy to have him back.

Yeah, Drew will be heaps happy for one. Kindof strange when I think that he nominated two of his faves in there (jade and Ben) last week though.

I think all he was thinking of at the time was saving himself and Tully, and must have thought that was the way to do it. For all he knows it worked, he has no knowledge of who everyone else voted for. He redeemed himself with Jade, and Benny will be back anyway, so it's all good, but his next nomination will be interesting. They are running out of people to nominate. I hope he goes with Ed for 4, but don't know who he will give the 1 to this week, after what happened with Jade and Ben after last week.
