Drew = young Keanu Reeves

yeah Drew does like Ben and probably more so after their P.S visit. those nomination points last week didn't really seem all that well thought out and rushed but it might have been to just get the ones up who normally are, to give himself,Tully and Tim more chance with a double. Jade had done a couple of annoying things to him during that week as well but I think they sorted that out after that counting sheep task chat, so he saved her during the swap.
He did say when nominating Ben that he didnt think he would go though, so I think he had an attack of the guilt when seeing Ben leave plus he does feel guilty for Matt leaving the way he did with swapping him...of course doesn't mean he isnt also pleased, as its part of the game to outlast the others.

I'm hoping he nominated Ed and the sisters, as he doesn't seem as close to them...if the housemates think Ed has the superpower most might avoid him but Drew has nominated the superpower holder a couple of times in the past

Yeah and I noticed he was really upset about how distraught Tully was....he really cares about her.

Don't really have an issue with him and Tully but it's more the way he's become weak and a backstabber since the association began. You can tell that Mikkalya genuinely adores and trusts him but he's run to the "other side" and snitched on her on repeated occasions. That's his choice and if it's the way he wants to play that game then so be it, but I find it a very unattractive quality in a person. If he wants to bitch about her then good for him, but don't let her go on thinking you're on her side and her friend. Same with Jade, if you have a problem with her then say as much so she knows where you stand. Don't let her go on adoring you and thinking you have her back but then nominating her and laughing behind her back every chance you get.

Exactly. And you're so spot on with Mikkayla. He not only did it to Jade, but Mikkayla too. And don't forget his treatment of Ben along with Tim not so long ago. Sure he seems nice to Jade, Mikkayla & Ben on their own but Drew is very easily influenced by others and always goes along with whatever Tim or Tully is doing and goes along with the gossip and laughing behind the backs of people who think that Drew is their close friend. He doesn't have a mind for himself these days. I can't see myself ever being a fan again tbh.
 
i want to see him BB, more him on his own please!!!!! i am warming up to him again hahaha, just prepare myself for the tully eviction.

interesting that no one nominated him, (except Ed, i think even without super power he might go for drew), so he must be doing something right and something BB didnt have time to show us, the drully thing waste way too much time, fingers crossed she is out out out out and out. please dont design a challenge for her to win BB, i will be very P'ed off.
 
So people, now that she-who-must-not-be-named is gone, is Drew going to mope around and be a sad case, or is he going to sack up and try to win this thing? Guess he should start by introducing himself to his fellow housemates - "Hi, I'm Drew".
 
It's going to be good to see Drew on his own now, hope he shines.
I hope to see a stronger Drew that will enjoy his stay in the house, you never know he may be one of the last 3 standing.
 
yes it will be an interesting few days to see how Drew settles down in the house without Tully breathing down his neck...hopefully she did let him know before she left that she didnt see any future with him and that he was just a 'bestfriend' inside the house...whether she really meant what she said during eviction or not, thinking she still had a GF.
 
Based on Drew's comment on one of the latest updates ("I don't think I've ever felt under the thumb in a friendship before, until Tully"), I'm thinking he's got to be somewhat relieved she's gone. We've seen signs lately that he was aware that she was draining him emotionally plus he seemed to be getting more exasperated with her emotional game-playing. I think he'll bounce back pretty quickly now that he won't feel obligated to be Tully's sole emotional support system.

I'll bet she didn't - she would never have let him off the hook if she thought she had a chance of staying (although I'm starting to think that at least the 2 of them knew ahead of time).

yeah Im thinking maybe they did have some chat we never saw that Tully was going back to her GF...she was just saying last night how romantic her 25th birthday was with Tahlia, and didn't he say somewhere recently she would probably forget about him when she left the house? I think he was more into her than she was into him but I could never figure out if they thought they would actually get together outside the house as a couple...their convo's were too cyrtic at times, although that could be what BB live feed writers, and edited wanted us to think LOL

I'm kind of thinking that dinner discussion re. the romantic birthday holiday was an attempt to do damage control before being evicted. I think BB let her know she was probably going & prepped her.

I do but I don't at the same time. To me she made it incredibly obvious that she needed an emotional crutch in the house, and when Matt wasn't putting up with it she made Drew that person. It was an incredibly shitty thing to do if she was just using him for that but surely Drew knew what she needed and could see what she was doing.

She's either lying or she led Drew on way more than Ed has Jade; in which case she's proving the point that she's just an immature, self-absorbed, selfish user.
 
posted this in another thread that was locked. just want to place it here, cause i'm interested in what drew will do with his bb life anew.

not taking a "feel sorry for him" stance here, but I do think he's got some 'splainin to do!

I would liken his scenario to a person who has missed work, let's say due to a bad hypothetical auto accident. he was driving along, doing well, then BAM! . maybe he was playing with the radio, dropped his cell phone and was looking for it in the floorboard or a bee got in the car. definitely, it was an incident due to his negligence in this case.

now the "after effect" of that accident, as many of us would in that hypothetical situation, would possibly have to miss work without notice.
that means, no preparation for your absence. things are going to pile up, emails, lunches, meetings and just general contact with co-workers. and as Drew did (in the house) anyone in that hypothetical, would receive well wishes, cards and calls from those co-workers wanting us to get better soon, etc. this would be when the HMs would quietly and humbly say "ya know people think you are cutting yourself off from the group".

now... the time present. the sick leave is over for drew in this hypothetical. he has a LOT of catching up to do. people have moved on with other relationships and he will need to reinsert himself and regain a formal footing in the house as DREW, the individual. after coming back to work he (as we all would have to in the hypothetical) has to catch up on weeks of communications and rebuild his status, as a HM.

time is ticking for him quickly as BB has advised all will be up for eviction this week and the intruders are coming. this is not in question. he may have somewhat of a life line with his BEN connection, but the boy needs to get to work and do so quickly.

as he told the story before about his dad and that tree. you got yourself up there, you can get yourself down.

it will be most interesting watching him revamp after his recovery.

I reckon BB will return to giving Drew and Tim those lucrative tasks they like to bask in.. things will be back to 'normal'. I doubt he will even try to win, knowing that he will always play second fiddle to the Messiah.
 
Hopefully Tim and Drew do some fun things today before the intruders arrive. ( I must go read live feed thread)
Tim was worried last night that Ed might get closer to Drew now that Tully's left. Tim can't sit back and just wait, if he wants some time with Drew.
