Ncuti has regenerated into Billie... I am kinda down for this.

I reckon she’s The Moment or Bad Wolf, and won’t actually be considered a Doctor.
And she wasn’t introduced as The Doctor in the credits either.
Again, they defeated the big bad too easily. Sutekh and Omega, even The Rani, should have been utilised, built up better and defeated a lot more difficultly…

…hmmmmmmm!… Billie Piper as The Doctor?… let me completely digest that bit of information… Billie Piper as The Doctor?… Billie Piper as The Doctor?… I LOVE IT!… I’ve always loved Billie as Rose… she’s my favourite companion after Catherine Tate as Donna Noble… it’s going to be intriguing as to how she’s going to play The Doctor… surely she won’t be just Rose Tyler with a Sonic Screwdriver?… I’m glad that Ncuti is gone… I could never accept him as The Doctor (and no… it wasn’t because he was black)… it’s just that I felt that the show itself was always being showcased around Ncuti’s obvious talented dancing and singing abilities… it wasn’t being Dr Who…
…when Dr Who started when I was 10 years old (I’m now nearly 73)… it was a SCIENCE FICTION show… no magical or supernatural crap… no singing and dancing… no tears from The Doctor every 10 seconds… no musical numbers every 5 minutes to pander to Ncuti’s talents to keep him interested in playing The Doctor… it was pure SCIENCE FICTION only… for the past two seasons I feel that the show has suffered for all the above reasons…
…don’t get me wrong… Ncuti is a great actor and he has done a reasonable job as The Doctor and some of the stories were absolutely brilliant… (a few were ridiculous and were complete duds)… but overall… to me… it took a downturn for sure…
…I hope that Dr Who goes on forever and with Billie being the new Doctor it might be a great turning point in the show… (at least she won’t be singing and dancing and crying every 5 minutes!… well… I hope not anyway)… we shouldn’t think of it as Russell T Davis as using Billie as a ‘safety net’ to keep us as viewers to try and save the show… but more like a “surprise!… guess who wants to try their luck at playing The Doctor everyone!”… moment… we shouldn’t write Billie off… we should welcome her take on the role… we should give her a go… ha!… listen to me… I kicked up a massive stink when Jodie was going to be The Doctor lol!… the original gruffy grumpy Doctor of the 60’s becoming a… a…. WOMAN!…what the?… wow!… how I’ve changed lol!… remember those posts?…

I think it was because Jodie never got to properly hand it over to Ncut, so this allowed her do to that!
