@tickytoc Huge thanks for the heads up! Just got some great seats right near the front for the Perth show :D

You will love it I saw it in Sydney with River and Rory's Dad - but a Doctor!!!
And then it's interactive with the Judoon, Angels, cybermen, Daleks etc roving!!!
(sorry for all the exclamation marks just too excited about it)

Yeah I went to the Brisbane one earlier this year. But I bought my ticket quite late for that one so we were way up in the stands.

Definitely enjoyed it enough to go again, and I'm sure it'll be updated with new music from the coming season.

Don't forget ABC is repeating the fabulous 50th celebration episode tonight.

And Capaldi's rave reviews are in, and so is he, has now signed for next series.

Important news - we will no longer be live streaming the‪#‎DWWorldTour‬ fan Q&A event from Sydney.

We’ve listened to feedback from the fans and agree that it’s much more exciting if the Q&A session takes place AFTER screenings of ‘Deep Breath’ – as the panel will then be able to discuss the Twelfth Doctor and the episode in much more detail. We’ll still be publishing spoiler-free highlights video, and a longer version will be available after 23 August – so there’s still some really exciting videos coming your way!

Head to doctorwho.tv for more info http://www.doctorwho.tv/whats-new/a...doctor-who-world-tour-live-stream-from-sydney

Highlight videos will be published on the official Doctor Who YouTube channel within 24 hours of the event taking place.

They were just on, for maybe a minute, or 2 perhaps.
If you missed it, you didn't miss much, no proper Doctor fans on that panel - so they didn't ask much.
Asked about getting the role, & how Jenna finds the new Doc, & about robin Williams.

The Mix, ABC - just had a much, much better interiew with DW & companion from recent visit to Oz.

Peter - he was such an obsessive fan as a child, he wrote so much to DW/BBC, they eventually asked him to stop it, stop writing to us!
And, god I love him already, he says once he got the part and it was secret, he would go into geeky DW shops, and lurk & stand near people looking at DW stuff - aha, you don't know it yet but the Doctor is right there!

Counting the days too @stickyfingers, I love being a Doctor fan, you get so many treats and thrills and the fans are the best in the world.
And caught a promo last night on ABC, yeah, Peter Capaldi interviewed by Julia Zemiro.
Looks like a stand alone special.
Will chase up time/date details and post.

edit
When Julia Met the Doctor, ABC, 8pm, Wednesday 20/8/14, enjoy - nice to see ABC/SBS giving Julia more airtime too, she is a gem.

Jenna Coleman's run as Time Lord's companion 'set to end at Christmas… as she agrees with bosses to quit Doctor Who'
By FAY STRANG FOR MAILONLINE
Actress Jenna Coleman is set to make her exit from Doctor Who at Christmas.

The 28-year-old has played the Time Lord's companion Clara Oswald since her debut episode Asylum of the Daleks aired in September 2012, and it is said she has agreed with bosses that an exit later this year will be right for the science fiction show.

An insider told the Sunday Mirror: ‘The conversations about Jenna's exit have started, and a plan is in place which is being ironed out.

Rumour - no idea if it is true.
Is Clara still impossible?
Can she re-occur and come save the Doctor?

Wow, that's a shame, but on the other hand, change is good, and I've loved every one of the new series companions, there's no need for them to stay forever.

Reminder Who fans, tonight, 8pm, ABC1, Julia Zemiro interviews Peter Capaldi,
