Exciting news
Matt Smith (The Eleventh Doctor) and Karen Gillan (Amy Pond) are both heading down under for a special tour around the country next March. The Hub Productions' Whoniverse: The Doctor is in event will see them live on stage talking about the phenomenon of Doctor Who and their lives as the Doctor and his companion. There will also be merchandise as well as rare collectibles available to purchase from dealers. Limited autographs and professional photographs will be available with the guests. The tour dates are as follows:

>>> PERTH MARCH 2nd 2014
>>> ADELAIDE MARCH 8th 2014
>>> MELBOURNE MARCH 9th 2014

Good grief, have you checked the prices - horrible, poor families with kids, will just have to hang about stagedoors.
Interesting that they are doing this though, and Rory/Arthur is coming too.
Right now it feels weird that they don't have a last new series of Matt ready to run.

The reserve tickets aren't too bad compared to the premium ones, except for families, as you say [MENTION=899]kxk[/MENTION].
Unless I missed something, the only real difference between silver and gold tickets is for $300 extra you get to sit up the front. Crazy expensive.
I have Tom Baker, Colin Baker and Sylvestor McCoy's autographs, but I wouldn't pay $80 for any Doctor's autograph.

I went to the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra's Doctor Who Concert tonight.
There were Cyberman, Daleks, the silence, the Ood, The Rhinocerous headed guy, The Vampire brides, The fish lady and many more.
FABULOUS music and , of course, Peter Davidson...he was marvellous. very very enjoyable

Fifth Doctor Peter Davison will be making a number of special appearances at ABC shops in the next couple of weeks.
The actor is in the country to host the Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular. He will be making a special appearance at the shops, where he will be signing Doctor Who merchandise. Please note the number of items that can be signed will be limited due to time restrictions. The appearance will be for 90 minutes.

He looks a bit of all right, hope he has a sexy voice, Brits do the best sexy voices.
Snape in Potter being one of my favourites, and Mr Malfoy, posh evil is uber sexy.
Samuel Anderson, will play a teacher from Clara's school.
And - Matt Smith will return for some cameos, aww.
Clara will dream/see him, as she deals with the confusion of a regenerated Doctor

You know what I almost don't care......
I watched all of the last series of Doctor Who and the 50th anniversary special. But I just don't care......
Normally I would have rushed out to buy the full series box set but I just don't care.... This whole past series has been mostly meh... One or two good episodes but on the whole this last series just has not excited me ........

I adored the 50th and detested the Christmas special Matt finale....Moffatt is weird, he can write a good story but he is shit at being the overlord/producer/director...just shit.
But Mud, I appreciated Matt much more on 2nd viewing, he acts his little heart out and is wonderful as an old/young Doc, tragic and sad.
I just grew to love him to bits and ignore a lot of the shit story going on.
I loved Amy/Rory - but detested how Moffatt kept torturing the poor things. Sick to death of River, please never ever come back, sweetie.
Moff must be due to leave soon surely.
I felt quite a bit like you Mud until I started watching Matt/Clara series 2nd time around. Moffatt was so annoying - then I just focused more on the actors and really enjoyed the last few episodes and the 50th.
