Doctor Who

I love our new Doctor, knew I would loved him in other roles. Companion - good, story - good, all good - and just woohoo finally Doc Who back each wonderous week. But why oh why don't they put the Confidential on TV.

Sundays are now one of the coolest TV nights, nice they scheduled Merlin not to clash too:)

'Cos I can't get miss 4 to bed before 8pm I have to tape dr who & watch it when she isn't around. Her baby brother woke up eaaarly today so I thought "here's my chance" I got to 17mins to save the world & my bubba starts playing with the DVD mach. & turns it off:eek: I freak out move him & turn it back on waiting, waiting for it to re-load. AND then miss four calls out "mummy I'm awake now" DAMN! I'm so full of suspense I am dying inside - 17mins to go!

So far though, I'm surprised how much I'm liking the new Dr & Amy. I liked the way she was introduced & when he meets her family they all go 'oh so your they raggedy Dr' haha. Loves it & I can't wait for some mummy/Dr time so I can finally see what happens!!!

ETA - I also think the Matt Smith looks heeaaps better on TV then in the pictures of him on here. YAY :D

I was dubious about the casting before I watched Ep.1 , I should have trusted the BBC audition people to get it right. I remember when David Tennant took over the role he took to the character with ease, I get the same vibe from Matt Smith.

Doctor Who Specials Box Set

I just received the box set containing all of the specials.

Whoah........ Just watching all that again..........Where did all the Doc's arrogance come from? It just seemed to come from out of nowhere...

I think most of that got tempered a bit in "end of time"

Also on the DVD's howcome they TOTALLY WASTED all that valuable DVD space by splitting up the program onto two DVDs? I just got the box set and all the DVDs have one special on them and then the last one is split over two DVDs.... Jsut seems such a waste.

Did you order it from overseas? I must do that, as there are no plans to release it here.

Also The Chase (Hartnell Dalek story), when it's released here it will be minus The Beatles bit, so I will get the UK edition.

I bought The Masque Of Mandrgora today.

But even on DVD they could have crammed all the episodes on 2 or even 3 disks and had one for all the bonus stuff.... 5 disks is a waste.

But why was she still in her nightie whie DW held her ankle and looked up her skirt while she was floating in space????:g::cool::eek::rolleyes:
