ANOTHER CLIFFHANGER

HOW DARE THEY!

But still... Whats with the ISIS Inspired execution videos?? THis episode was a perfect metaphor for ISIS and all that gubbins.

But now its time for...
BigBrotherCritic's favourite moment!

Todays favourite moment is a 3 way split between:
a) Seeing the Powell Estate Again! (Rose Tyler's Residence). Good to see it hasn't changed at all!
b) Seeing a picture of William Hartnell on one of the walls at UNIT (Near the stairs)
c) THE DOCTOR ENTERING THE PLANE! Omfg... I had a good giggle at that one!

This was such a great episode as always! I'm really happy with the consistent quality that is being produced every single week!

It did rather wear its politics on its sleeve this one.

Totally agree!

I quote the main ideas of this: "A small number of the Zygons want to cause trouble, hurting them will hurt the whole race"

If thats not a direct reference to ISIS and Islam and all of that than I will eat my TV, it's too politically involved for the time and the event to be coincidental.

Also Kate Lethbridge used the word: "Radicalised"

…fantastic!... we got to see Tennant/Smith and Hurt as The Doctor right from the get go!... I love it!...

….woohoo!... Osgood makes a comeback at last!... did anyone notice that when the two Osgoods were talking one was wearing Sylvester McCoy’s jumper and the other was wearing Tom Bakers Scarf?... cool!!!!...

...seeing The Doctor clambering over the slippery slide and other stuff while talking to those twin ‘girls’ was funny to watch lol!... Australia gets a mention… (perhaps one day an episode will be filmed here?... here’s hoping anyway)…

…they made a reference to the Zygon episodes back in the 70’s series and the nerve gas used to defeat them back then and also referenced that… “someone in a Tardis”… disposed of that weapon… I’m loving all of these story arcs back to previous episodes from just recently and back to the old series… with panic setting in they are sure trying to get The Doctor to use the gas that turns the Zygons inside out aren’t they?...

… when Kate Lethbridge Stewart was standing in front of the clock I noticed that there was no month or year visible on it to actually date the episode I guess…

…I’m hoping that when Clara leaves that The Doctor has Osgood (one of them at least) as his companion... after all he has other worldly creatures as help as in The Paternoster gang for instance… (I can only hope)… Clara seems to be seen less and less as each episode progresses to me… (or am I just imagining it?)… I like the way that Osgood will not reveal whether she is the Zygon or not to protect her other ‘sister’… it always keeps us guessing doesn’t it?... clever writing indeed…

ow bloody wow!... I did not see that coming!!!!... ‘Clara’ was a Zygon when she led them all into a trap!!!!!... that is so excellent!!!... clever!... clever!... clever!!!!... and then the female cop!!!... (is that how Clara bows out of the show I wonder?)… OH CRAP!!!!!... TO BE CONTINUED???... AAAAAAAARGH!!!...

…what a fantastic story and what a brilliant episode… now we’ve g
ot to wait another week to see the end result… awwww bummer!... lol!... I so enjoyed this show today… cheers.

It was a reference to Harry Sullivan.

Yeah it was pretty obvious.
DW has always ventured into politics: civil war, Thatcherism, apartheid, environmentalism, etc. Some people even think that back in the day, the Daleks were Nazis.
I've sometimes wondered how the Doctor would vote, he seems like a lefty. But I actually think he wouldn't vote at all ... who would be worthy of his vote?!!
