The Clara Dalek was giving me heart palpitations, very creepy - Missy is a sneaky, crazy devil and I love her.
Can we assume the drumming in her head is now gone?
Davros - come closer......................I expected him to leech onto the Doctor physically.

Next -
Episodes 3 and 4: Under The Lake / Before The Flood
Written by Toby Whithouse
Directed by Daniel O’Hara
Produced by Derek Ritchie
Guest cast includes Paul Kaye, Morven Christie, Arsher Ali, Colin McFarlane, Sophie Stone, Zaqi Ismail, Steven Robertson and Neil Fingleton.

Toby Whithouse has written some of the show’s most memorable episodes including School Reunion, The Vampires of Venice and The God Complex but his first two-parter may be his most chilling story to date. Steven Moffat called it ‘brilliantly creepy… one of our scariest adventures yet!’

And then we get the Masie episodes,

Ooo goodies to warm me up, before the repeats at 8.40pm & 12.15am
Thanks @Meglos

And all these 2-parters could do my head in, I think I will go for your method next time around @Mr Stickyfingers, repeat 1st ep just before watching part 2.

ABC should do one repeat on saturday evenings of the 2 parts all together, would be a nice weekend late night slot ratings winner I reckon.

I *hated* the sonic sunglasses!! They better not stick around too long. Loving Missy & the dynamic she brings.
Hehe, me too. I laughed at the glasses, but then I thought, that's a bit silly, I hope it doesn't become a thing.

As we all seem to love Clara/Jenna, nice article...

Jenna Coleman would return to Doctor Who "if there was a good story"

Fans of Doctor Who companion Clara Oswald might be able to stop weeping into their fish fingers and custard.

Actress Jenna Colemanmay have confirmed that she's quitting her role on the BBC sci-fi hit last week but she's said she'd be open to a return one day.

"I would always be happy (to return) if there was a good story," she told Entertainment Weekly. "But I think we'll have to see what happens."

Coleman said that her exit has been planned for some time and that her final story is "really cool".

"We decided last year, it had only been one season with Peter, and there was a lot more to do," she said. "So that's what it was, really.

"It was just about telling the best story we could. So, I'm hoping that's what was done.

"I'm really pleased with it. I think it's really cool. People will have to wait and see what happens!"

The actress, who will soon play the young Queen Victoria in ITV's Victoria, added that leaving Doctor Who after three years "did not feel real at all".
It was just really weird," she said. "I was really overwhelmed. I recognise that it's a special part of my life. The storytelling is so dynamic, and big, and whimsical, and magical. You feel like you're in a fairy tale and it's really hard to walk away from that.

"It's a lot more than just a job — the friendships I have with the crew and Peter, it's very hard to say goodbye to it."

I hope she does come back sometime, and is Clara still IMPOSSIBLE?
Can she just pop up again in some other time?
I do hope when she departs it is sweetly done and she remains impossible:)

The Witch’s Familiar Recap
PLEASE NOTE:If you haven’t seen The Witch’s Familiar, please stop reading now! This article contains spoilers about the episode.

You’ve probably calmed down now after the excitement of the weekend where we discovered Missy and Clara were not dead (yay!) and that Davros was up to his old schemes again. So included here are some of the points you may have missed in The Witch’s Familiar.

Dalek Dictionary
For Daleks, the word “sewer” is the same as “graveyard”.

Also, the phrases, “I Love You,” and, “You are different from me,” translate as “Exterminate!”

Apparently “mercy” is a new word for the Daleks despite being present when The Eleventh Doctor used it in Victory of the Daleks (2010) and a stone Dalek actually using the word three times when meeting River Song in The Big Bang later that year. (Perhaps the Doctor’s reboot of the universe deleted the word.)

“That’s a bit weird!” is a phrase never said by any Dalek before.

Familiar Face
The Fourth Doctor, made famous by Tom Baker in the 1970s, pops up in Missy’s flashback.

That’s New!
Sticking with the flashback, the Doctor fell into a nest of Vampire Monkeys - hopefully we’ll see them again in the future!

For the first time EVER in Doctor Who, Davros and The Master share a scene together. Back in 1973, the renegade Time Lord teamed up with the Daleks in Frontier In Space though they ended up executing him in the 1996 Paul McGann TV Movie.

Missy reveals that she once had a daughter…

The Doctor deposes Davros and uses his chair - and we get to see the full extent of the damage to the scientist’s body.

The Nevervault is mentioned by Missy - we’ve no idea what it is but it does have a slope!

Missy uses a Dark Star Alloy (not to be confused with a Dwarf star alloy as mentioned in Warriors' Gate (1981), The Family of Blood (2007) and Day of the Moon (2011).

The Hybrid - a mix of Dalek and Time Lord. The prophecy states that, “two great warrior races forced together to create a warrior greater than either.” Surely this can’t end well for anyone?

And finally, the Doctor is “over” the Sonic Screwdriver! Now he’s into “wearable technology,” - introducing the Sonic Shades! The Time Lord claims the screwdriver spoils the line of his jacket.

References
TheTARDISis saved by its “Hostile Action Dispersal System” which we assume is the same as the previously used Hostile Action Displacement System. HADS, as it’s also known, was used by the TARDIS here to defend itself against attack. It was first used in thePatrick Troughtonstory The Krotons - “If the Tardis is attacked, it automatically dematerialises,” he told companion Zoe. HADS was used again in the Matt Smith episode, Cold War.

The Daleks have “remade” Skaro - it was destroyed by the Seventh Doctor using the Hand of Omega in Remembrance of the Daleks.

The classic Dalek line, “My vision is impaired!” (a favourite with fans) is brought back, having been used previously in The Daleks, Resurrection of the Daleks, Revelation of the Daleks, Remembrance of the Daleks and The Parting of the Ways.

The word “nanotech” is mentioned - in the Ninth Doctor story The Empty Child and The Doctor Dances, nanogenes were used to heal the injured whilst in Asylum of the Daleks nanoclouds converted humans into Dalek agents.

Music
Missy quotes a famous song by Elton John (who popped up in 2006’s Love & Monsters), “The Bitch Is Back!” A hit for the bespectacled pianist in 1974.

Past Episodes
Looks like Davros enjoys watching classic Doctor Who as, like last week, he still has Genesis of the Daleks on in the background. The same 1975 story is also evoked in the sewer scenes and in during the confrontation between the Doctor and Davros (reference to being a “God” and the ability to commit genocide on the Dalek race).

The Doctor has a cup of tea on standby whilst sitting in Davros’ chair - in Victory of the Daleks (2010), a Dalek uttered the immortal phrase, “Would you care for some tea?“

Clara gets inside a Dalek casing, just like companion Ian in the original 1963 story The Daleks (and reminiscent of her other self Oswin in 2012’s Asylum of the Daleks).

Wow, that had a lot of twists and turns.
A lot to absorb.

Dalek Clara was eerie déjà vu.
I love Missy more and more each time I see her.
And the end was a relief, I should have expected something like that, but it was still a surprise until we got there.

So long live Davros, lol.

...haha!... it must have been really weird for Jenna doing that again eh?... the first one is 'souffle girl' the second one from 'The Witches Familiar'... déjà vu alright lol!...

I *hated* the sonic sunglasses!! They better not stick around too long. Loving Missy & the dynamic she brings.
Hehe, me too. I laughed at the glasses, but then I thought, that's a bit silly, I hope it doesn't become a thing.

...I hope that all of the Whovians give The M0ff all Hell about them... the whole thing about Capaldi's Doctor is the expression in his eyes to convey his thoughts and feelings... if his eyes are hidden then we lose a big part of Capaldi's character as far as I'm concerned... besides it will be ridiculous if he is in a dark cave and has to wear them... how will he see?... anyhow... The Moff brought out those big fat gay Daleks a while back... the Whovians went ballistic... we've never seen them again really have we?... perhaps the same will happen with these eh?... at least I hope so anyway... lol!...

"Can I have a stick too?"

Line of the series! haha. I enjoyed all the banter between Clara and Missy. Cool episode overall.

@nutmeg I was immediately thinking about souffle girl too!

...hahaha!... there were a few good lines in that show weren't there Will... lol!...

..."shush now... mummy's talking!"...

..."why are you sharpening that stick?"... "we might have to go hunting!"... "why am I tied up?"... "in case there's nothing to hunt!'... (Missy winks)...

...The Doctor is in Davros' chair amongst all of the Daleks and says... "of course... the question is... where did I get the cup of tea?... answer... I'm The Doctor!... just accept it!"... and this one below lol!...

Untitled-11.gif

...The Doctor never did say to Davros why he originally ran from Gallifrey did he?... it was weird to see Davros and The Doctor actually laughing together for me lol!... when Missy heard The Doctor say that Davros was his 'arch enemy' in 'The Magician's Apprentice' she was quite miffed by it and said something like..."I'll scratch his eye out!"... and in this episode did you notice that she did scratch/poke his eye before she left?... lol!... I thought that this was such a great follow up episode to finish this story... if the rest of them this year are as good as these two episodes then we're in for a great ride methinks!... cheers.

...actually I'm so glad that I did this because instead of a just couple of recaps of the first story part where they never show 'your favourite parts' I was able to pick up a lot of things that I may have forgotten watching the second part... (the "I'll scratch his eye out!")... comment by Missy in the first episode for instance... anyhow... as I said... it works for me lol!... cheers.

Really enjoyed the last episode. Having the doctor and Davros interact like that was really great to watch. Missy and Clara were a great double act. Really enjoyed them. The concept of how the daleks communicate was really interesting. I can't wait to see where this goes.

I have also decided to re-watch and review some classic Doctor Who stories on here. Because it has been a long time since I have seen some of them. I have this fever , this fever that I must cure by seeing the doctor and his blue box.

I am using this website: http://www.episodegenerator.com/doctor-who-old to pick out the stories that I will review (I am ignoring the fact that this site only chooses the episode of the story, I am focusing on the story as a whole). Of course what I review will be subject to availability.

The stories I will review in order are:

Horror of Fang Rock

Underworld

The Visitation

The Trial of a Time Lord (Yes, all 14 episodes)

The Monster of Peladon

The Curse of Fenric

The Pirate Planet

The Dominators

Revenge of the Cybermen.

The Armageddon Factor

The Mind of Evil

Invasion of the dinosaurs

Battlefield

Meglos

The War Games

The Sea Devils

Image of the Fendahl

Planet of Fire

City of Death

Death to the daleks

The Power of Kroll

The Ark in Space

I will review all of those that is a promise. And I will review them like really thoroughly so no like two line sentences such as 'doctor good dalek baaaad' from me. After I have gone through that I will review more classic who.

If I were to use that random episode generator then apparently I'd be doing Terminus episode 1.
I agree with you reepbot about looking at the whole story rather than one episode, I don't think you get as much out of one episode in isolation (though I do usually treat Trial Of A Time Lord as 4 smaller stories).

Oh @oddjob .....I have watched some of Green Room, and missed most of it, and now I shall go and buy the episodes with Gomez.
Is she in the entire series?
It was on odd times and never could catch it much, I saw more with the Mrs from Episodes, female from Black Books.
I have fallen in love with Gomez, the clips are awesome:)

So I've been away camping and I finally got around to watching the latest Doctor Who...

OH MY FUCKING GOD IT WAS AMAZING!
IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE WATCHED EVER!

Now before I have an aneurysm, let me share with you my favourite moment...

When Davros has the Doctor the 2nd time and Davros goes:

"It took a long time to procure, You should be greatful, it took a lot of effort to get... the only other chair on Skaro"
:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

Made me laugh for a long time!

And also... correct me if I'm wrong but this may be the first episode to include a fairly serious vulgar word, that being when Missy tells the Dalek to tell the Doctor that: "The Bitch is Back"

Very exciting stuff!

Now...

Anyone for Dodgems?

Oh. I'm not sure I'd put Green Wing in the "BUY" category, the humour's off the wall, and a bit hit and miss. Second season not as good as the first. Gomez is a supporting player, but according to imdb she's in every episode.
