But they don't value Rory as a character. How many times in the last series and this have they killed, or almost killed him? He's a cosmic joke.

As the "people" were bits & pieces, her body wasn't very reliable, so the body failed & released the Tardis to go, well, back inside the Tardis.

Yes I know Idris was just some poor woman House had captured...... Maybe she was a dead timelord who knows..... Her body was most probably on the verge of dying but House kept her alive. But she gave life and depth to the TARDIS when the TARDIS took over her body and gave it a personality. We now know that the ship is really a "she" and has a name... And a personality and doesn't always let the Doctor take her where HE wants but where he is needed.

Of course they value him. How about the Roman guard who waited? That was one of the most heroic things ever. Rory is awesome, a very "real" character who we can identify with.
I think you're missing the point a bit.
 
I agree with you again Meglos (:D) I had tears in my eyes when Rory waited & waited, protecting Amy in the Pandorica. It showed the true depth of their love.

And Muddy - you kept on asking "what happened to Idirs' body" so that's why I gave my thoughts on it. Or do you really want to know is "does anyone else think the Tardis will ever be able to take over a person again? maybe a male next time?"

No I didn't want to know anything.... I accept what was said about Idris.. I never questioned it. Was just puzzled that I never saw where the body went no biggie. Plus the Doctor put a firewall around the Matrix to stop anyone pinching it, and I think to keep her inside.
 
Well i loved every episode and i'm sad i won't get to see the next one until Sept.
On the first day we heard Amy was pregnant both Troppo and i agreed to who the child was and we
were correct lol.
Oh and Torchwood (miracle day) is on over here on the 9th or 10th of next month.

On another note, a few weeks back i received a large photo of John Barrowman and he signed it with my name and love John. It's stunning, i'll have to take a photo and show you all. A friend from Qld who runs the official Torchwood Australia forum got him to do it for me :)

I am happy with who River Song turned out to be. Given their flirting it would be all kinds of wrong if she had turned out to be his mother or daughter - when I saw the cot I thought "oh no, the Doctor used to sleep in it & River is his mother" or "oh no, River used to sleep in it cos she's the Doctor's daughter.."

Interesting that in such a huge universe the Doctor knew River long before he met Amy, even as a child.
 
First off who was blowing things up outside the Cyberman ship when Rory was giving them his ultimatum?

Well we knew Amy's daughter was called Melody Pond...... But yeah that it was River was and was not a whole suprise......But OMG what a fantastic episode..... I'm still in a buzz over it.

Grrr that we have to wait till September here in Australia..... What the frack were the BBC thinking tying this to a yank schedule? I'll go through withdrawal.... I just hope the wrap up to the season isn't a let down and they don't sue some kind of magical reset button..

Is the reason River didn't come earlier the whole nonsense with two people in the same place and same time stuff? I am beginning to wonder if the Doctor that left at th end is actually a ganger? So much of that was done this series....... But would the TARDIS/Sexy let him fly her?

Oh and River isn't much of a weapon she doesn't even try to do anything to the Doctor...... Well yet but I don't know.

And nothing wrong with River and Doctor getting together if she's Amy and Rory's baby there's no bloodline to mess up.

And the army of Clergy follow the teachings of a mainframe? WTF????? Humans following the teachings of a computer. For all they know it's got corrupted programs.

Did like the Sith / lightsaber monks... What The? Hope George Lucas doesn't see that. :D
