Yes, I wouldn't be surprised if eyepatch woman has something to do with Amy & Rory's baby (see also the TARDIS pregnancy meter going crazy).
 
I liked Amy right from the start, and Rory too, and the Dr, and, and, well all the good guys :D

And yes, I thought when eyepatch lady popped into the boat when Amy was sleeping would be important later down the track, but I've forgotten exactly what she said.

Heads up, the next episode is quite good. Better than the pirates one for sure.

I don't know what to make of the pirate one. It was good but not satisfying..

I am a bit pee O'ed at the new introduction to the show with the Amy voiceover. Is it all about her? I thought this was Doctor Who not the flipping Amy show...... And the Doctor's become stupider... is he now Inspector Gadget with Penny/Amy and Brian/ Rory helping him?
 
I'm not into the Amy voiceover either, but I really like Amy. She’s fun – and she rocks a pirate jacket.

Loving this season so far. Except the end of last week...

Why didn’t the Doctor, Amy and the captain end up in the ‘hospital’ as patients, when they arrived the same way as everyone else?
And obviously the ‘consent form’ was signed for the pirates to be free, but what will happen? Will the siren keep all of them alive, or just the boy? Will the boy ever die? Etc. (and I don’t even want to think about the life of a young boy on a ship with 17th century pirates who never see women, yikes). It seemed like a lazy 'happy' ending and now its driving me nuts.

Bring on tonight’s episode, just a couple of minutes now...
 
Yeah that was a beauty, I'm getting into this series much more than the last, it's much more mysterious and nicely emotional.

I liked all the new guys right away, especially amy, but something lacked 1st season, i couldn't connect & missed David. I feel more connected now - loved the Tardis woman.
Anyone else have trouble picking up Matt's dialogue at times? It frustrates me, I can't understand him quite often.

This Doctor is more Inspector Gadget then the Doctor and if you can't see that well yeah.... But he is funny.

OMG Idris was gorgeous...... I love the TARDIS woman...... It's a shame they can't give the TARDIS a voice...... Howcome House called her Idris yet she couldn't tell the Doctor her name was Idris?

She was lovely. ooh I'm in love..............

At least we know now that the TARDIS never takes the Doctor where he wants to go but where hs needed.... She knows having the time vortex inside her and all.. And that she stole him as much as he stole her from Galifrey..

Overall it's a great episode and there's a connection to the Library episode remember what Idris told the Doctor "There's only one river in the forest" "Forest of the dead" / "Silence in the library."


Oh and did you know that "Amy's Choice" from last season ties into this current series. Steven Moffat said so...

That's the one where they met the Dream Lord and visited a world where Amy was full with baby..... Amy had to choose which was the real world that one where she was about to pop, or the on in the TARDIS... where it was getting cold and there was no heating..
