BTW I hate it too but mum loves it so I buy that to make her happy.
 
My new patient at work is a Dr Who fan, he came with 30 plus DVD's of the Doc. All he wants to do is watch his Dr Who dvd's and eat and I am more than happy to facilitate both.

^^ I had to tape it & watch it when miss 5 went to bed. Glad I did the shark trying to eat the kid would have scared the bejesus outta her. I missed about the first 5-10 mins - what scene are you talking about Medusa?

IN the TV guide they mentioned the Orient Express spaceship. I assuemd that was the ship in the Christmas Carol.


I have to watch it again too many things in there to get the whole thing... Was the freezing thing to pay a debt, or for her sickness, it got confusing

We watched it and the hour long confidential this afternoon and loved them both..
Matt was his usual quirky self and i loved the frozen lady, her voice was so hypnotic
and beautiful.

Did you notice homages to Tom Baker with the scarf and they tried to make Abigail look like stupid Rose
 
I didn't pick it up as a homage to Tom Baker and there was nothing on Confidential about it.
I don't think they made her look like Rose either, i loved Rose but in looks this
chick was much better looking.

Watch again and you will see the scarf.... It's very quick and took me a couple of goes. I read about it first on whirlpool. Thank heavens for digital recorders.

What was the homage to Tom Baker? Ah got it! I uploaded it here

I didn't see any intentional similarity to Rose. Katherine Jenkins (Abigail) was more likely chosen for her real operatic singing ability. This is the first time she's done any acting!

Oh wow I can't believe that was the first time acting for the lady playing Abigail. And double wow that that was really her singing. She was fantastic. And Matt Smith is really growing on me, I thought i'd have a hard time adjusting to him after DT, but I'm not at all. I think they have really good writting & the Dr & Amy bounce off each other really well. I just lurve it :)
