How is that funny on any level?
The pee tape story involed chicks peeing on a bed, not him. The story was always complete bullshit from the start. Only gullible people believed it. It then became part of a lie and conspiracy theory that got mainstreamed that was always clearly nonsense. We now know that it was knownly pushed while the intelligence community knew it was all nonsense. It's another WMDs in Iraq nonsense where the intelligence community and the media knowingly pushed lies. Like that, it was always apparent to be nonsense. With time and disclosures, any doubt should be gone that this is the case.
So how is a meme based on a misunderstanding of a lie that you fell for funny?

This has me so unbelievably pissed. It’s one thing to intervene in a protracted labour dispute and another to use the nuclear option less than a day in to a strike and completely cut workers out of the collective bargaining process for a second time in a row. Fucking liberal government saying in one breath they respect workers rights while playing games that have the ability to essentially strip an entire industry of their constitutional right to collective bargaining indefinitely.
Strikes don't just happen - it has taken a lot of communication breakdown to get to that resort. How utterlly heartbreaking for them to be that disrespected.

You’re 100% right. Not to mention this is essentially the same government that caused the largest strike in Canadian history with its own workers with the essentially the same bad faith tactics Air Canada is using. I was deemed an essential worker so I worked through it but I definitely felt the pressure of it and we’re still dealing with the fallout. It also doesn’t help that the legal system is a slow moving beast and is generally pretty cautious about their intervention.

Yet another reason Trump’s gone after public broadcasters. They may not be perfect by any means but they’re much harder to be bought and turned in to state media than private media where the dollar is king.
Nah, he went after PBS because Sesame Street made fun of him. He's so thin skinned and vengeful (as with Barack Obama) I believe this.

Are they working? yes? then they should be getting paid their full wage - not bloody hard. They are not volunteers they are employees.

What they’re trying to do is protect themselves from paying for a flight attendants full duty day which would include time spent sitting in the airport waiting for your next flight and can be significant. IMO you’re in uniform and at the company’s disposal during that time you should be getting paid.
No other industry allows for a tiered approach to pay based on the type of work you’re doing through the day or is excused from paying employees to be “at work” in the building and available to work without getting paid. Nurses? Teachers? Just goes to show you how hard it is for female dominated industries to negotiate.
Going back I unpaid work… I was on leave a few years ago and every time I got called in to a meeting to discuss my LOA, I was paid a minimum of three hours at my full rate of pay. Even if the meeting was literally only 10 minutes. When I was a flight attendant, I had 14 hour duty days where I was only paid for 5 of said hours AND my monthly guarantee was only 75 hours @ $23 - $27 something per hour. Also when you’re sitting in the airport it’s not as if you are just off… You’re in uniform and at the company’s disposal. They can literally call you at any point and reassign you up to your max duty time. Thought you had a nice “easy day”? Nope, something happened and plans change, you’ve now had a 14 hour duty days and minimum rest

My arsehole boss insisted we all turn up and be at our desks at 8.45am instead of 9am - an extra hour and a quarter a week - for no extra pay. All because my slack arse workmate was always late. I complied until I eventually took annual leave, came to Cambodia on a recon trip, and emailed him from KL on the way back telling him I wouldn't be coming back. He'd have been furious and I wish I could have witnessed his reaction.
