It wasn't completely raw but I remember it being fairly lax.

The reason the 2006 Turkey Slap Incident even became known was because it was shown on the live stream, captured in the Fan Diary here and then I posted articles about it (back when BBB had a news area).

There was a huge debate at the time because Ten technically didn't break decency rules because they only applied to broadcast television, not live streams (the laws have since been updated).

In a parallel universe where BBB doesn't exist, the turkey slap happened but no one found out.
...and Big Brothers ratings hold in 07/08 with an 09 sequel greenlight leading to the show staying at home on Ten at Dreamworld where it belongs. :)

Women-on-women misogyny is a real phenomenon. And more common in the Facebook generation (Boomers - Gen X)
Who is the person being misogynistic in this scenario? I feel like I’ve missed something

At the time there were quite a few calling big brother to be canceled
A few politicians eve took it up
Nudity and raunchy behaviour in BB uncut seemed to be a trigger - Shocking lolo
I think the turkey slap incident really fueled the fire

He’s not saying it wasn’t controversial. He’s saying the monitoring and censoring on the live feed was lax.

Just the general pile on that happens against women who get involved with Colin in any way.

Holly wasn't an angel but she got 100% of the blame for her and Colin being together when he actually instigated a lot of it.

Last night there was a big blow out between Jane and Colin when she told him to stop farting on her. Everyone immediately sides with Colin even though Jane has a point.

What staples do they get ? is it a limited supply ?
Seem $120 would not go far with 12 people ?
2 of us go through a jar of coffee a week if not more lolo

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain it for me!

I agree that Colin is being treated so much like a child and a victim online. It’s been absolutely ridiculous

My only issue with Jane was that I thought that she went over the top with her reaction. She had a point but in my opinion overreacted emotion wise

Because we seem to be more drawn to those we don't like 😅😅😅
There are enough shows like MAFS and Love Island for the arseholes though??? There are people out here who don't thrive on watching showmances and endless arguments.
