Episode Day 80 (26/11/14) Grand Finale (NB: Live Spoiler warning, site-wide)

I can't help but feeling that the old housemate feel good shitty thing was really crap, Its was only about the housemates, not anybody acctually watching!

That was me and a friend holding those signs! We also had a "Go Reggie" sign and Reggie was coincidentally there and she saw it! And we got a photo.

Our sign said "FREE TH HOUSEMATES" by the way :))
I saw you get up and get a photo with Reggie! Did she actually say she would add you on Facebook like Mikey joked about? :p

After returning from a nice holiday in the sun for a fortnight I skipped through the finale tonight and may I say I skipped a LOT. What a terrible ending to the season. I wasn't thrilled in Ryan winning but considering its the worst final 3, it could have been worse.
The past seasons housemates video wall thing was terrible! It looked like something that my nephew in primary school could do in IT class. The vibe of the show once again felt flat, I don't get why cant they get the vibe up in that place? It's like an old man who cant get it up even with Viagra. The lack of a winner walk from the house AGAIN and the teleportation crap still lives on and I think this also impacts on the excitement and vibe of the show. Sonia was still very autocue heavy - Maybe it's because in front of live crowds she needs that form of prompting. It could be that form of off-the-cuff Sonia that a lot of us loved on DWTS was because there was no audience staring her in the face. We saw glimpses of this when she went into the house, so maybe it really is the reason?

On the plus side, it looked like they sold out the whole auditorium which was good to see and the opening titles were a nice touch. I do like the idea of the finale being gold themed.
Was nice to see they finally used the "exit/facade entrance" when skye was evicted. The thousands of dollars it probably cost to create to use it twice clearly was a great investment... they got it right in the end. Well... kind of.

A lot of the housemates looked great at the finale and I am glad in a way we didn't get some awkward dance routine like we once had.

Overall I think its time for a year rest of Big Brother and return in 2016 with both Alex Mav and Chris Blackburn REPLACED because it's time for some new blood to head that production team. I don't doubt the hard work that goes on behind the scenes that all production members do, putting a show to air is a massive task. I do however think its time to look at the previous model of production quality and the way in which it operated in the noughties on Ten. When you compare the end product of all of the programs under the BB umbrella they come of far superior and some may even be 10 years old.

That is all.
