You should see a video of the housemate you nominated thanking you for the vote, at least that's what happens on desktop version. You should also have an email advising you that you've used credit for the vote from Facebook, if you're not getting an email and checking in your account settings doesn't reveal any payments, then I daresay that it didn't work.

Try to get to a desktop and do it that way as I know that works.
