I'm just watching last nights ep on youtube, and I had to post. It's so annoying how people on the FB comments (and yes i know its my fault for reading them) but they go on and on about "oh skye smiling during this and that what a bitch!" I saw heaps about her smiling through Richards eviction and how rude it was, but David had a massive grin on his face as well when they were paused?! People pick on Skye for the dumbest shit.
Also I keep yoyoing between liking Ryan and hating him. At the moment I am really liking him. Still can't stand David though.

I was hoping Skye but guess the fans like watching her...
Did something give you that impression?

If Skye has a chance to win BB I'm sure even BB may consider vote to evict, 'cos she may be able to win BB quite honestly and BB knows Skye better than any of us.
Just started watching last nights ep, and when Dave grabs penny and ryan quips shes got a boyfriend, just reminded why i liked ryan so much, so much real talk
Reminds me of why I don't like Ryan. He can't just let people get along and have fun. He has to have a go at them in an attempt to stop them enjoying themselves.
These little quips are a soft form of bullying and trying to place control over others.
As the what's your number thing been discussed? The thread is 100 pages long and the search function keeps telling me everything I search is too common to search.
Once again we get a hint of a discussion, then we see someone talking about it and clearly a huge chunk and what Lina was talking about was not what we saw.
Where did people come down on the 75 number? That's pretty damn high right?
Bullshit, not bullshit?

AS IF it's SEVENTY FIVE.
At least SEVENTY FOUR of those "WOMEN" were VICTIMS.

I refuse to believe it. He had to be joking. Unless it was editing or a misunderstanding and it was really the answer to "How many Facebook friends do you have?" or "How old was the oldest lady you've ever made out with?" I don't even dislike the guy, but no.As the what's your number thing been discussed? The thread is 100 pages long and the search function keeps telling me everything I search is too common to search.

he's tryna sound cool in front of Travis and Leo who have probably said similar numbers. As the what's your number thing been discussed? The thread is 100 pages long and the search function keeps telling me everything I search is too common to search.

The part about Travis not having been born yet was a throw-away line. I've no idea when either of them were born. My point was, as I said, Priya's idea of sexism is a little bit 80s. I don't know why, but it is.Priya didn't arrive until later in the 80s herself.

Well, when you put it in terms of fractions of women...David's 75 is believable enough. He's 31, and since the age of 18 that would on average be 5.36 women a year. Or since the age of 16 it would be 4.69 women a year on average.

It is, bullying is a form of dominating someone. Restricting and controlling how they act or how they feel they can act. So when Ryan has little goes at people like David it's a way of trying to establish dominance to reduce the ability of that person to act freely in the environment. There is a judgement placed on them by someone else. In that moment David may suddenly stop what he is doing because someone has made a negative comment about it. Even if there is no value or merit to the comment. Hence domination. Or he / they may in the future, potentially after many comments refrain from acting in certain ways.
It's under the whole, 'joke' banner. But isn't most bullying?
It's why kids tease other kids. It's about trying to establish dominance. If someone is teased for liking something or doing something. It's about limiting the freedom in which that person feels to express themselves. This extends to behavior.
That is the kind of 'ribbing' that Ryan likes to do. Whether it is effective or not, this is the behavior his is displaying.
Look at it this way, if a little kid likes Doctor Who and wears a bow tie to school. And some other kid teases him about it. Why is that? To enforce dominance by trying to get that kid to stop wearing the bow tie. Changing the behavior of the target of the bullying. So yes a little quip like this by Ryan is a softer form of that.

Well that's a little unfair.

Now it is certainly possible. I just don't believe it. People putting up those kind of numbers or more, from my experience David is not that type of guy.
It is the sort of thing people would lie about. What is it, the rule of threes? Divide a guys number by three, multiply a girls number by three?
David's 75 is believable enough. He's 31, and since the age of 18 that would on average be 5.36 women a year. Or since the age of 16 it would be 4.69 women a year on average.
See this is where to me it's like, it's easy to go, well a new chick ever 2 months since sexually active as a basis for it. It's a bit too rounded.
When in reality, while he has had no long term relationships which factors in favor of a higher number. As you get older all this shit of meeting people, picking up, one night stands slows down. Does David really seem like a guy who spent a few years banging a new chick every week or two?
Unless he has a regular bi-monthly appointment at the hookers, that'd have to be the reality.
Also and to be honest, even at much lower numbers people tend to be more in the vague range. So even if it's true, it's a bit creepy to be so exact.
