Episode Day 65 (11/11/14) Eviction

for 4 points id like to nominate osherG. if hes not working out or eating, hes always cleaning, always making a show out of being the first to start washing dishes and stuff. i think he does it make everyone else look lazy, and it probably does make me look bad and that affects my time in the house so i am nominating osherG for 4 points.

accepted.

The important bit for me would be to not complain about others. I would say that Dave seems pretty keen to jump on chores this year, but no one's nominated him for it, presumably he doesn't whine that others aren't pulling their weight. That's the crucial element. No one's (that I can recall) nominated for either cleanliness or laziness this year, bizarrely, given how common it used to be.

No. It was empowering! She was very articulate and got her point across without effort....

Those nasty male bitchy bitchersons, sitting in that treehouse for FORTY-FIVE MINUTES .... (probably longer considering no one has a watch!!) complaining and moaning about WHO ...........SKYE!!!!! Giving her even more airtime boys!!

David obsessing over Penny having babies.... What the hell is WRONG with him??? My initial thought was, what if she has infertility issues.

If you personally found it empowering.. then great. Glad it works for you. Thanks for sharing.

Well, Penny was clearly NOT offended by the interaction as she was asking David qualifying questions, replied to his answers and then THANKED HIM with a big genuine smile on her face and skipped off happily.

You didn't see Penny and her long chat with BB the other night about menstruation because HER ovaries were "currently on fire"?
Yes, I did see that, actually.

And your point is?! Doesn't mean Jack shit about whose idea it was!! I would imagine the girls discuss it frequently. You do know the order we view events is not chronological, right?

I wasnt far out, 9 pages when I left, 88 now. My 1st impressions, the latecomers arent going to get the $5000 voucher. The eviction was pretty predictable, its hard for intruders, unless they bring something special. No sighting of the voting board, makes me think that there is a clear bottom 2 and no amount of saves will change it. On the programme itself, I thought it was a nothing programme, a bit like watching a repeat from another time.

I'm watching tonight's episode massively (;)) delayed, but how cool was Sonia's live entrance to the house for the task. Two things... it was live (great) and Sonia wasn't reading from a teleprompter - different Sonia! Obviously the messages behind the words coming out of her mouth to each of the housemates would've been premeditated by producers to a point, but with them not choosing the exact order of words made it quite personal. (Which is a good thing!)

We ALMOST got to see it tonight, but I think Penny's got to have made comments about her fertility/body clock/want of children, I don't believe Dave is that socially awkward that he's pulled that totally out of his arse, twice.

Weirdly uncomfortable to watch and interpret. It felt quite icky to me. Not exactly sure why. Guess it depends on what colour glasses you're wearing :)

Not much 'affecting my time in the house' either. None actually. That used to drive me mad. So unoriginal.

The kitchen incident was the SAME time Priya made the comment about "typical AU society.. women in the kitchen and men in the spa".. THAT would have been the prompt for Skye's little soapbox time. I have no qualms at all about Penny probably having discussed her conversation with BB with the women in the house, but it is clear that the footage shown today, was FROM today because of the Remembrance Day "halt". Were the women NOT wearing the exact same clothes in the kitchen as they were for the Minutes Silence? Penny was speaking to BB about the period stuff prior to today and was near passionate about it from a personal perspective.
