Episode Day 58 (Tues 24/09/13): Live Intruders Special

Oops the family show image just died......

"As long as someone is getting pumped I'm happy:"

How many beds are there in the main bedroom?

2 doubles and 4 singles?

Perhaps Ed will have to finally move in with Jade to make room for an intruder to have a bed.

Nathan is obviously meant to be liked more, that's why Sonia linked him to Ben who they are pushing as being great.

Yeah I did not get that vibe from any of the housemates this season. And then came Nathan.

Ill admit it was the 'hopefully she who should not be named is evicted' comment that sealed the deal. My heart is still with Tim, but its big enough for more than one :o

Why can't they just be honest with the audience? I'd be happy to have Justynn in the house if they were honest with us. Tell us he's an aspiring actor/model/adventure enthusiast, even tell us he's been told to mess with the housemates - we would respect that a lot more than all these blatant lies. We know he's not a lumberjack.

If he's been hired as an actor to mess things up, like Michael was in the UK, then be honest about it. The whole "asshole misogynist lumberjack" persona is going to be dropped within a few days inside that house anyway.

I posted this in the housemate thread, but I'll copy/paste it here as well:

Yes, almost all the reality TV shows advertise on StarNow, but they don't actually cast you through it. You click 'apply' and you're taken to the same generic application website that everyone else applies through.

The only people I've known who were actually cast to be on Big Brother were in the fake second house last year. I definitely didn't see any listings to be an intruder, so I'm guessing that these guys were just shortlisted from the main auditions back in April or whenever it was ((Nathan pretty much just confirmed this)).

But yeah, everyone on StarNow goes through the same process as everyone else. I guess there's just a higher likelihood that the most entertaining applicants have a creative background (and anyone pursuing a creative career in Australia is on StarNow, which is a job board, not an agency).
