Episode Day 5 Daily Show - 13/11/2025

Okay look I’m not gonna lie guys I didn’t hate that episode 🤷🏻‍♂️

Apart form the BDSM begging challenge there wasn’t much music there? The Holly and Colin saga is also Great tv. Come at me but I actually had fun tonight!

Not a fan of the relaxed rules for these housemates.
Directly looking at the camera and leaving messages for family is a cardinal BB sin, feet on the diary room chair, calling him everything except Big Brother and even yesterday BB accepting anything as a nomination. Remember how hard they used to push back on nominating on behalf of other’s feelings?

Edit: and now they’re openly discussing nominations 🤦‍♂️

Really starting to agree that the voice should be a producer who knows how they want to direct the show.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^THIS X 10… cheers.

Watching a bit of episode 5 now. I haven't been able to watch any BB this year - there's just been a lot going on with life stuff and hard to get any time.

Some of you seem disappointed; can I make a point and say that having any expectations is just going to result in disappointment. Best to do a reset, and just watch it like you're watching the show for the first time. Stop comparing it to things before, we are just getting older and jaded. I wish I had the time to put all my time and energy into it. Just life is getting in the way for me at the moment. The housemates seem pretty interesting to me though, and I LOVE that they have a livestream. But a few more camera options would be super amazing.. I'll be dropping in from time to time :D

I love Mel as a host. But she needs to channel a bit more Gretel - Gretel was sort of a mother hen when it came to the housemates... it felt like sometimes she defended them against BB, and even the network. It almost felt like she took a bit of responsibility for them.

But at the same time, she was like a hard hitting journo... she wouldn't shy away from asking them the tough questions.

I'm sure Mel will find her own style... but I hope they don't water down that dynamic too much.

I really want the host to be involved, and interview the housemates throughout the experience.

She doesn't need to channel Gretel at all - and worth remembering in the 10 series the bulk of the HMs were under 25. An older cast shouldn't need so much mothering.

We don't really know her style yet considering she hadn't interacted with the HMs since they moved in. So far though she seems to be confidently hosting the show in her own style, not trying to fill someone else's boots.

I actually don’t mind. It helps me distinguish between what was shown and what I have seen on the live stream (or read on recap here)
Yesterdays recap on todays episode is also great for casual viewers who can safely miss an episode without falling behind and not tuning in again.

That episode was dreadful. So much time on the task and on Colin and Holly. Alanna is great value on the live stream, where the hell is she on the edited TV show? It already feels like the show wants either Colin or Coco to win TBH.

I should have just watched tonight's episode of Survivor. Watching it on catch up now.
I think Season 49 has been ruined for me by knowing who the two people are who are on 50 sadly. It's incredibly predictable because of this post merge so far. Whereas if I didn't know I would have enjoyed the last two episodes so much more.

God, Holly really is a chore. A classic example of why it's better to evict the "bigger character" because the show needs to move on from focusing on this storyline.

They aren't even showing her worst moments on TV either. Calling down syndrome children 'downies' and now I see she's had a go at Connor for not wanting to have children last night too. She just seems vile.
