Its not actually 700k watching though, there are around 3000 people in Australia who have a ratings box and then they extrapolate the results to show an estimation of how many people are watching the show.
 
people are saying they definitely wont go but think about it, they don't know when they are going to be leaving and the offer means they can leave together and have an awesome time together on the promo trail and also take a chunk of money to split between them or stay in the house and hope one of them wins. In checking the electronic program guide on my telly I subjected myself to 3 minutes of "A Current Affair" - one of the highest rating shows on television. Now I know why we're becoming dumber and dumber - I swear I could feel my brain cells dying by the second. Far canal. How do people watch that???

I have seen it when it was on Media Watch, most of the time it is not even true.
