I never said he should be corrupted - there's a difference between being an innocent, pure of heart person and having people treat you like a toddler. There are plenty of idealistic, innocent and kind people in the world, and they are all perfectly capable of functioning as and being treated like mature, capable adults. That is what adults deserve to be respected as. It wasn't so much a criticism of Ben as it was of everybody around him.

I find it very disturbing the way people treat Ben like a toddler and talk down to him as if he is incapable of functioning as an adult in the real world. It is incredibly restrictive to have everybody look down on him like a child and it's preventing him from reaching his full potential. He couldn't even cook his own vegetarian meals before he entered the house. Typical twitter comments like "Awww, Ben is so cute! How could anybody nominate him? *squeeee* ^_^" are just bizarre and disrespectful. He is a grown man, somebody to be respected and treated as an independent adult, not coddled and adored as if he were a baby. People treat him like he is incapable of handling adult emotions or situations, but I think that people treating him as such is the only thing standing in his way of doing so. I know that Ben wants what any person wants from life - love, happiness and success - but it makes it a lot harder to achieve that if everybody around you thinks you're mentally and emotionally incapable. People need to give him that chance.
 
Ed just gave Tim even more power, admitting Tim can beat him...
I knew Ed would be too piss weak to put himself next to Tim
He probably reckons he can charm Jade into not being mad about it (let's face it, he probably can...)
 
Well, that was such a no-win situation for Ed. This board wouldn't stop ragging on him if he was dumb enough to go against Tim. He can't beat either of them in a vote but no one there knows it.

Don't know if Jade would have swapped Ed out if she won the showdown, Tim would never.

i cant wait to see the look on some faces when Mik and the sisters dont get evicted.

I think both Drew and Ed shot themselves in the foot there. Drew's popularity is dropping like a stone, his % yesterday showed that imo. Ed needs to win the superpower or hope Matt does to have any chance of being saved I think this week

They are not close anymore and its a game and he probably thought with a double eviction he has a better chance of staying against her.

I also hated his reason: because she's been miserable. Well, maybe as a friend talk to her and find out what's wrong? Or try and cheer her up? But no, just nominate her instead. What a dick.
 
Drew thinks Tully is his girlfriend, and the will live happily every after. Little does he know as quick as Tully "forgot" Tahlia (no disrespect to Tahlia, she has all my respect), she will forget Drew. Jade would have been your friend forever, you goose, Tully won't even make eye contact with you in a month

Ed must have thought he couldn't beat the Sugar Sisters or Makkayla to have picked Jade. Kinda gutless

Ben is more capable than others allow him to be.

Quite funny, by trying to play the game and not being the nice guy he pretends to be, he just lost the game, it's poetic.

I know. Everyone else loses by a landslide so Tim's the best choice. I just can't see Ben doing anything with the twist, doesn't seem like the type to stir anything even if given the chance.
