Episode Day 4 (11/09/14) Daily Show

I actually know nothing of the case other than the basics. You're right about the murder charge, of course.

Speaking of BASICS

Absolute MESS

I think they believe it's their money (potentially they could have won it if they were final winner).
That's what I said and my Mum said - like what if they didn't have that option? And they're holding onto it like it's gold, but one of them could also win too and even if they spent 2-3k, they'd still be 7-8k better off.

Well, it isn't the same thing, this money is cash in hand accessible in the house. If I were going hungry so you could have money, I would make you miserable, because I would be mad. I don't think I would ask for money, I would just express my anger. Not saying it is a good look or a smart play, but, there it is.
That's fair, I'd be cranky too.
It's not this holier than thou bullshit about supposedly having a right to the money.

Probably pronunciation lol - I don't know, it just grates on me.
I don't know if you remember the show Full Frontal that used to be on tv - there was a guy who used to do a parody of John Howard lol - Travis' voice reminds me of him (I know that's random).

Bahaha at least guy is attempting funny, poor travis doesn't have an excuse 🤣

Btw reading some of my posts that have been liked. Sorry for some typos and shit. I am terrible at not proof reading on the internet. A bunch of years ago I broke my right hand in an accident. I primarily have complete movement back but it altered my typing. After many years of muscle memory and it linked back to my brain. My fingers often type the wrong words because a couple of fingers don't quite have the same movement. It's weird.

I feel some HM's thought the girls had been deceitful about the $20k, by not originally telling them that the money came out of the prize money, and that's what made things worse?

I wonder if the money spent at the diner goes back into the winners prize money anyway?

Honestly- I think they just used this as a catalyst to express how they REALLY felt the night before. They had the chance to go against the grain of "oh its okay i would have taken the money " which is all well and good but then 90% of them went against the grain.

I wouldn't have bothered telling them at all. Let the greedy bastards find out when they win a reduced amount of prize money at the end of the game :P

I wrote this in another thread, but look at it this way. These two girls took $20,000 from the winner. The winner could be any of the other house mates.

So why exactly is it fair for them to take money from the winner? But not fair at all for any housemates to want to take any part of that 20 grand from the girls?
I agree with you that it's fair for the housemates to WANT.

Just as much as it's fair for the girls not to give ;)

I hate to disagree with my one and only, but I really think it added a whole other context to it.

In taking the money they were taking food which the housemates initially didn't think was too bad. They were happy for them. However they are starting to feel the pain of that and then all of a sudden get stung with it actually potentially taking money out of their or another housemates pocket. So it escalated it.
