Episode Day 33 (10/10/2014) Daily Show

No updates to be seen on http://www.jump-in.com.au/show/bigbrother/2014/

Why the frick do they only give us clips of things that HAVE ALREADY HAPPENED IN THE DAILY SHOW ? There's no point in going to the short clips they put on there to only learn things we already know. What a waste of time... Who's going to watch those clips ? I tiny minority of people who refuse to watch a daily show is all, or rewatching an important piece of footage that's about it, but it's not like a new angle or anything, it just takes the master edit!!

Can they at least give us one good reason to go to check out the latest news?
Jumpin very occasionally show something extra. Like David as superman and Skye getting fed all those chocolates by Sam in the hotel task, but yes it's mainly stuff we have already seen seen so I don't see the point.

can anyone tell me WTH is the blue stuff on Skye and Leo and when did that happen??

the only real counter to onions is airflow. ive heard sooo many old wives tales regarding onion tears, and none of them are true. either stand near the extractor hood or stand outside ;)
incidentally, jason is the only one that has an idea which knife to use and how to hold it. i wonder where he learnt that?
Not sure about this, but I've heard you can reduce the fumes by using a very, very sharp knife; and also by cutting them under water. In any case, that segment was just to show how gullible some people can be, and to show them pulling funny faces. :)

It may have happened in the art room that we didn't see when they were doing art that we don't know about.
When that day happened in the house that art room had already been turned into the staff room. What is all over Skye and Leo is the blue texta thing that the HMs use to write...... For this task there was the board that had the days activities..... For example when they did the whale watching or the aqua fit class it was written on the board thing in blue texta.......

I've just finished watching this episode (with the world's worst hangover). :hungover:

I feel like I can see right through that discussion at the table about Lawson and Cat. Most of them seemed so highly aware of the fact that Australia is watching and listening at that point... the only exception being Travis, who didn't at all seem to be demonising anyone while promoting himself. In fact, I get the idea that he isn't really playing the game at all, or even thinking that far ahead, just being himself.

The others at the table though... they may as well have been saying "Cat and Lawson... aren't they bad people Australia? Vote them out! And aren't we so altruistic for saying terrible it all is?".

The way Aisha was harping on about it was overkill really, which is one of the reasons the conversation looked more like game playing than genuine chit chat. Ulterior motives were obvious in everything that both Aisha and Priya said, all the way through it.

And Sandra... so hypocritical. If Sam had taken her into the Sanctuary, she would have ridden him like a mechanical bull if he had let her.

Well I am FINALLY caught up on this weeks BB, and I am loving the show! Absolutely loving it!!

They really are a great bunch to watch. My favourites for this week are Leo, Jason, Skye and Sandy. I love the fact you can go from strongly disliking to liking (or liking to disliking) a housemate in a single episode!

While I don't want to see any of them go, I think it will be Lawson this week.

Wearing glasses whilst I cut onions does the trick for me...

I don't understand why cheating is being compared to what is worse tbh. I don't know why Cat felt the need to say that cheating is not the worse thing to happen in a relationship. I can't think of a word, (but one of you wordy people maybe can help me out?), but it diminishes the act of cheating like one should be grateful that that happens to them and nothing more. As a human being with emotional responses, cheating would affect me I believe. Yes other things can happen in a relationship, but why should the response be well it could be worse? I don't want to feel like I don't have a right to be upset because it apparently isn't the worse thing to happen and I don't think it's fair to put that message out there imo.
I don't know who brought up the topic of cheating, but they did it it order to put Lawson and Cat in a bad light. This is clever strategy, because it can potentially save you if you are up for eviction. Does anyone know who started this conversation?

Probably BB. Isn't he the main conversation starter this year?

A housemates IQ test? I think they all passed. I've read that cutting onions under water works too, but I havent tried that. I heard that keeping them in the fridge stopped the tears, I do that, but it doesnt work. I love plenty of onions in my casseroles, so I spend about 20 minutes with runny eyes.
