He said 'hmm?' in response after Cat said 'My favourite part about tonight' because he was acknowledging what she was saying. Then Cat said 'is right now.'. Lawson said 'hmm?' as a query to if she was going to do what he thought she was going to do, then Cat said 'Hm hm' and nodded her head in response to his query.
