Episode Day 31 (8/10/2014) Daily Show & Nominations

Remember the days you couldn't nominate just for not getting along with someone. BB would say - have you approached them about this etc? Way too easy to nominate.
Not to forget "and how does that effect your time in the house?"

I know! He put chocolate on my pancake... thats why I want im out of the house
I was waiting for BB to say "you're potentially ending his time in the house because of...chocolate?"

I'm no fan of Leo, but he was the only one who treated this task as it was meant to be...A TASK. The others treated it as if it was a personal attack on them and took it out on the innocent hotel guests, who had no choice but to not lift a finger. Did that make sense?
He might be the front runner for the $3000. I liked his "whale watching tour" the other night.

Somebody needs to tell Cat that Prius is our goddess and is not to be used as her sacrificial lamb. :( Aah well... I saw that coming but if one can trust facebook and this forum Priya should be safe.

Whats is with Stupid Sam giving her points because he almost missed out on a special breakfast? Really Sam that was the worth nominating someone for? If he hadn't done that Priya would have been safe right?

Worst edit ever of an event award goes once again to BBAU. Aisha complained of Sam smacking the back of her head which didn't hurt but she isn't a monkey. Whatever that means. She also said something happened while they were doing her make-up but we didn't see that did we? We saw what looked like an uncomfortably aggressive massage which Alisha did not have anything to say about.
Basically Priya admits that she stood by allowing Sam to do whatever he did that was too much. Alisha agrees that she is upset that Priya did not say anything to stop it but that she is also mad at herself for not saying anything.

Tomorrow night due to a lack of fresh new and exciting storylines BBAU will rerun an old favorite spiced up with unseen footage.

the thing about tonights show is that no one really did anything wrong deliberately.

- sam and priya thought they were having a bit of fun, hey Aisha is the easy going chick that doesn't seem to get bothered by much and they were both sorry and sad that she was sad.

- Aisha had a shit experience and she didn't speak up at the time. She felt like shit afterwards, and blamed herself for not speaking up and didn't want to upset sam and priya because she knew their intentions were not dark, but something wasn't sitting right, she needed some time and a good cry to sort out her feelings.

- everyone validated her feelings and tried to help, sam and priya felt bad. Priya went straight to Aisha, sam waited and in the interim trav approached him to recommend he apologise. Sam probably wanted to anyway, but this seemed like Trav was butting in, caused negative feelings, unintentional on travs behalf, but probs made things more difficult.

- trav wanted to look after Aisha but wanted to respect that she can look after herself. Inserted himself with good intentions but probably made sam feel like he was being chastised.

In then end I don't think anyone did anything with malice.

I actually like Aisha more.....yes in my eyes she over reacted over a bit of buffoonery that wasn't intended to upset her, but she is allowed to feel whatever she feels, and I think she handled it well and did not want to cause anyone any problems. She was upset and is allowed to be. Other people getting involved made the waters murky, but they did so out of good places, so they didn't do anything wrong either.

It was a lot to take in but at the end of the day I can't take sides because no one was trying to hurt anyone else, things just got "magnified" as they say, in the big brother house.
This is a perfect summary of what happened. I really think that the viewing audience (ie peeps on here) have made this a bigger deal than it was.

I don't really like Travis and detest the chest-thumping macho 'must protect my woman' attitude BUT I think, while it was a little clumsy at times, all parties (Trav, Sam and Aisha) talked this incident through in a fairly rational and calm way. Especially given that Trav would have loved to deck Sam, and Sam seemed to be seething underneath as well.

what is the big deal with priya

only thing I see is her giving an analysis on the housemates.

she does not entertain, far from being controversial .

all I hope is she is not in the front running to win BB.

Just finished watching.. well that episode tipped my vote away from Sandra as a possible winner for BB, for sure, ha! Her nomination reasons where so bad. Everything she said was taken out of its context and she didn't even read into that..."Soggy, but nice". I've had some nice soggy burgers before y'know... How's that.

Glad Lawson is up for noms, he seems a little up himself, sucked at the task and it's time for him to step up his game if he really wants to stay in there.. Interesting Cat didnt' take an interest in him she's obviously playing up and wants to show that she is trying to detach from him. Did Cat not realise that they can deduct points from the nominations - why didnt' she add save points for Trav if she wanted him out of the red zone, complete waste of points there ??

What grinded me about this episode was Priya... Soooo damn irritating. She was totally a part of that very crap looking massage. I'm a guy and I probably wouldn't have slept that night after such a shitty looking massage, it was dreadful and would not be worth 5c. And everyone had to have seen the way she was throwing those sponges around making an absolute mess, she just wasn't funny. And then she carries on like oh she should not have taken part in that.... This is not the first time she's really sucked at something, after the first week when she was head of house with Kate she just wanted to take all the money despite the housemates happyness, very selfish of her then she was unable to come up with a quick plan to at least bring some cheer into the house on the first week..
I don't think they can deduct points. She only had power to see people and add points

....... u are a BAD BITCH.......

Big Brothers role has been reduced that of a casual worker this year, because of the cut backs.

Lol, you know it's probably true.. However I prefer the less is more approach, why interfere? It is way better when the housemates do and say as they please, no one wants to listen to BB having a hissy fit cause someone broke the rules.. Who cares? I love that BB has alliances this year it makes the show so much more entertaining..

what is the big deal with priya

Clearly you are not an actual BB fan if you don't understand why people love Priya! If you don't get how awesome she is you need to watch more seasons of this..

what I don't understand about cat and Lawson is why after they had their dirty little get together they can very easily ignore each other (out of guilt probably) but they didn't have the strength to ignore their feelings BEFORE they broke an innocent girls heart.
They have had to "ignore" each other so to speak because of the task. Lawson is staff and Cat is a hotel guest, so they haven't been allowed to personally interact very often. Which is why Lawson was saying to her that the day before he had felt left out and missed talking to people.
