Episode Day 30 (Tue 27/08/13 9:30pm): Late Night Feast #1

That was a great episode. I know BB basically staged it all but it was still way better than the daily shows. I feel like this is one of the only times we've been able to see the HMs real personalities. The footage that we normally see must be extremely edited, considering how much the HMs talked about things that aren't PG in tonight's episode, even before they got drunk.

I agree, it was a great episode. The only reason I wasn't as fixated in it as I thought I would be was because most of the stuff we'd already seen before. Loved the stripping and kissing, made me feel much younger again! LOL!
 
I think if Tahan was single, Ed and Matt and maybe Drew would have made a play for her. She could have flirted but she didn't and she earns my respect for that alone.

Yeah I don't really care if they staged it. Going by the diary room comments, those sorts of conversations hadn't really been happening anyway.

oh yeah how much fun was it...even tully was awesome (your girl)....the discussions were the best...(apart from the mindless nudity...nothing can beat mindless nudity)

Haha I was surprised at how many of them got naked! They should do that more often :)
 
Finished here. Good to see some intelligent discussions, hopefully we see some more like that. Not so much of the contrived games getting them to suck each other's toes, though. Also good to see the fun side of them, rather than the bleak edit the daily show portrays of them fighting, bitching and crying. Tully has said a couple of times that she's loving every minute in there and is having a great time, so there must be more positive footage that we're not seeing.

From my experience, yes. The ones I know really don't give a damn and can't see what the problem is. This battle is done as far as most of society is concerned, we've just got to clear the parliamentary benches of the hold outs.

Well I broke my promise and I'm glad I did. That was the most enjoyable hour of Big Brother I've seen in a long time. Sex and politics is a mix you'll never hear me complain about.

Having said that, I'm still left wanting more. Did I hear Ben say Tahan showered naked!? What a waste! Hopefully tonight was just a warmup and they'll have the balls to rate the show MA in the future. The blurring of the nudity was still a real let down for me, simply because it's so saddening to see that we've gone backwards over the past decade.

I enjoyed tonight's episode but would prefer more natural conversations (not staged) between the HM's. I like seeing different sides to them. It was good to see the context behind the ed and jade bed scene.

I bet Ben had a raging boner in the spa too.
 
Wow! That was pretty good. Most of it was what I wanted it to be. It was funny and insightful. The discussions at the table were very interesting. I hope we see more of them but I do think the party thing happening every week would get a bit stale. Just clips of funny and adult related conversations that happen naturally would be better but I did like the flow of the story in tonight's show. But yeah it could get stale if it's a "party" every week.

I truly hope this "Late Night Feast" show survives for the rest of this year's series. I would hate for it to get the axe after tonight or the week after. We need this show! Tonight proves how important it is to see a more adult side to the housemates.

Now onto the blurred nudity! Grrr... What a shame. As a gay man I like naked men. Drew and Ed are handsome! In the next episode Channel 9 and BB producers can we please have a scene of them in the shower? :p

Anyway Well done Big Brother team! :) Good show!
