Not exactly. At first I thought that's what he was trying to get at, but what he seemed to be getting at is that human sexuality is a lot more complex than what any "heterosexual", "gay" or "bisexual" label implies.

He's probably of the belief that there is no concrete definition for a person's sexuality, rather that we have preferences, but it's possible that anybody can fall in love with anybody romantically or sexually.

Most people seem to think it's a combination of both genetics and environment. There are identical twins where one twin is gay and the other straight, so there is definitely an epigenetic factor there somewhere... Tim seemed to imply he thought there were more social environmental factors involved too.
