Episode Day 30 Finale Show - 8/12/2025

I wish there was some super rich BB mega fan/s that would invest a shit load into the show to make it near the same budget it used to be cause I don’t think it’ll ever get close. In saying that I still did enjoy aspects of the season mainly having the live stream back. I just love watching people interact. It was fun. It won’t last beyond another 2 seasons as it is though, I am confident in that. And I don’t believe that they will make any major upgrades. Oh well back to my bingeing season 4!

Nah.

Coco was the leader in my view. I knew it would take something special for Vinnie to be evicted and it’s no surprise he was up against first and second place during that eviction.

Coco has people screaming at her from
the rides and further support. Really popular housemate despite what this forum thinks.
I agree. Usually you can tell by the audience cheers audio level and for Colon it was fairly good, but for Coco it was a few more people cheering and a bit louder -- I even thought whilst watching the show, that, Colon would be intently listening for the audience response as each HM was introduced and he would have picked up that Coco got more cheers than he did..

Big Brother Fans Call Out ‘Unfair’ Detail In 2025 Finale: ‘What The Hell?’

“She was brought on stage and quickly hugged both Mel and Mike [Goldman]. The crowd didn’t know what was happening and she was quick to spot her husband and she was placed with him in the audience,” he detailed.

“There was no interview and no fanfare. It made no sense to exclude her that way. However, Emily took it on the chin and seemed happy regardless.”

One thing I did like this year was that other HM's apart from the winner also shared in some prize money & a car..

I thought it was interesting how both Alana & Bruce chose to take the car, I wondered if they had twigged to the likelihood that they were either 4th or 5th and it was best to leave and get something.

I wonder what would have happened if Coco stood up for the car, would they all of a sudden divert the camera's to the fish tank whilst they whispered in Coco's ear the sit down hahaha... (you're ruining our ratings scam that the Aussie battler with 3 kids triumphs as winner BB2025)...

How the hell can it be a 'social experiment' with all the production interference, prize monies, etc etc -- it doesn't seem to fit the usual parameters for an 'experiment'...

Bruce clearly thought Colin was going to win. Allana probably thought the same way. They'd have been strongly influenced by ride shouters.

Agreed. I assume a large chunk of the budget must come from sponsorships. Especially with earlier seasons having prize funds of a million, cash eviction prizes, new cars, etc.

With its current model the show has an early expiration date. I'm finally getting around to the 06 Finale and it's just lightyears better than what we just watched.

It was a produced segment with a sponsor. What would happen if no one stood up?

Could it have been suggested to them they won't be winning, or was it just understood they had no expectation of winning from the BB chats. We don't know. Bruce had been very clear that he didn't think he deserved the money because he'd just spend if on holidays. So I don't think he had an expectation of winning.

I would be surprised if they didn't open the house up for tours, but might be wishful thinking because I also have a GC trip booked for early Jan and I actually do want to see it

That was underwhelming af. We've now reached a point where the Channel 9 seasons feel more like Big Brother than a ch10 season (and counting...).

I think season 9/2012 is going to be my next BB watch. From memory it was actually good. 3 days short of 3 months, the old house (with ceiling and hidden cameras), interesting housemates that aren't rushed out and actual drama.

I started rewatching but just couldn't because the cast was unlikable. I'd give 2013 another crack though.

The BB house will be demolished & rebuilt remodeled for the next season

The house is literally falling apart. The garden area is all warped from the rain.

My hope is they build a new compound close by and move evictions and live shows to the exhibition centre. I would also assume Dreamworld has uses for the exhibition centre off season.

Even though I don't see them shutting down nearby rides for an extended period I actually don't see them building a new house compound unfortunately.

It's in the middle of a theme park, I can't imagine they won't leave it up for tours for some length of time. Until the space needs to be used for something else, returned to original use, or if the flimsy insect-riddled, methane-filled set needs to be taken down for safety concerns.

Even the second 7 era house location got left standing for tours during the Easter show.

Coco is the one that needs to run
Coco already knew Bruce was an angry man, prone to outbursts of rage, before she decided a showmance would increase her chances of the win. She can find out how misogynistic his views are by watching the earlier episodes of the daily show.

Some of it came out on the livestreams, which Bruce can't watch, but most obsessives on this site don't even know the extent of Coco's lies.

Yeah it really was something else back then. I should add that I honestly don’t mind at all if it’s a stripped back version and it doesn’t even have to go longer than 8 weeks, just need someone in charge that actually believes in the true original BB format. A lot of it is budget but it’s not all that, they changed things that have nothing to do with it. I really don’t think the world has changed that much that the show how it was would not work in today’s audience.
