Episode Day 30 Finale Show - 8/12/2025

Yes he was fkn ridiculous, but I didn’t think too much of it cause I thought maybe he’s always like this or the crowd are used to it.

Didn’t like when he snatched the sunnies off that girl.
Or when he told that person on their phone at the front of the stage to get to the back because they weren’t cheering

First time poster, long time fan.

Overall a decent season but the live shows lacked that "event" style element and the "anything could happen next" feel of the original.

Obviously more live elements tonight than we've seen this year even though it was rushed it definitely feels like Endemol have brought some more experienced operators in to the fold. It felt closest to the original tonight.

A few missed opportunities that have really bugged me and some suggestions for next year.

1. Build a bigger live stage being the most obvious one. The whole set looked like an activation at a shopping centre. Also, bring back the ramp! Surely there's another space in the park.

2. Stop with the royalty free production music. The BBAU theme song is one of the most recognisable sonic triggers in the country. It seems a wasted opportunity not to smash that as much as possible. Into breaks, out of breaks, eviction walkouts.

3. Show us the anonymous vote tallies on eviction night - it was always so exciting to see.

4. Vote to evict!

5. Have a separate daily show before the main show on eviction nights. I get it, schedules are cluttered but go 7 to 730 daily show and a proper live eviction 730 to 830 on Sundays.

6. Obviously it would have been silly for such a short season but if it does go longer next year, bring back the news update on finale night. It was such an interesting watch seeing the housemates react to what's been happening in the outside world.

7. Show evicted housemates who nominated them.

A big rant from me but I think a few of these one percenters would have made for a better product.

All in all though, great to have it back!

I feel like as a live producer of these shows sometimes you have to make tough decisions. The show ended like 15 minutes overtime as is, and they saw no option but to cut the Emily interview. I'm sure no one in production liked it either
Honestly if you were 15 minutes overtime, might as well have made it 20 or even a full 30 minutes overtime.

No Emily exit interview on the live stage is disgraceful imo.

Although Emily was a nice woman, she was and boring forgettable
While she was the nicest of a mostly irritating group of housemates, there wasn't anything that made Emily stand out on a consistent basis. Having that is what housemates needs 9 times out of 10 in order to win.

Her best chance was if the voting public found the other four finalists so unlikeable that she was the only 'viable' choice. Coco winning demonstrated that wasn't the way things turned out.

Emily got a world record you don't want to get.

Well.. since we're talking about Big Brother Australia, we might count "Emily not getting an interview after leaving" as a world first.

But technically, it's not a new world record. (And not like it makes the whole situation less shitty)

Em did get an onstage moment that wasn't broadcast.

One more set complaint...If 7 can do this for a one night thing, surely they can pull something better together.

I guess that's something at least. But would it have killed the BigBrotherAU official account to have posted a video showing that, too? Would probably reduce the number of backlash comments they're receiving. It looks like she hugs Mel and then sees her husband.
