Episode Day 29 Eviction Show - 7/12/2025

I wonder how they'll actually do it. Will they close the lines and then just do it one by one?

What do you consider a “normal Australian” though?

Emily is no more normal than Colin is as the typical Gen Z male or Bruce as a coastal tradie.

What is normal?
Defining "normal" can be tricky because it's so subjective and everyone brings their own perspective. By that, I just meant someone who's relatable and down-to-earth in a low-key way, like the quirky suburban characters in Kath & Kim who aren't chasing the spotlight or putting on a big performance. Emily's subtle humor and chill vibe remind me of that everyday Aussie sense of taking things in stride without trying too hard.

Alana is too argumentitive and my opinion is holier then thou, she is also very pro girl power anti men probs do to her divorce with her pig of a husband. Bruce is too easy going and filled with uninformed opinions, very stuck in his own way of life. Colin is nuts and so far from normal, annoying little fly you just want to squash. Coco is a 2 faced feral gronk who would steal from her best friend and lie about it.

The camera lingering on Conor, and then whipping over to Colin to even things up, then back to Conor again, over and over, kind of gave it away.
Also the fact that his Tourette's party of 6 people happened to be there tonight as well.

Production knew well in advance.

Colin’s goofy personality resonates with casual viewers. Him winning would not be out of the ordinary.
I'm very familiar with BBAU allowing awful people to win and I'm not in denial about this.

The goofy personality is 15% of who he is. The rest is a person with low emotional control who behaves badly very often and then uses the goofy / young persona that he portrays to avoid facing consequences. He's the type of guy who would yell mildly racist things in a pub and then when he's called out on it he'll reply with "I'm only joking" and attack the other person as unreasonable. He did it with Jane.

So on morality alone, he does not deserve to win.

But i'm not going to stress about it because he will 100% piss away the prize money within a few months on drugs (he's said so himself on the live stream).

Where the fuck is 10 getting a MILLION DOLLARS for hot seat? Those broke bitches can’t be serious.
I reckon the money tree will be lower than Channel 9 era Hot Seat.

Channel 9's era had the following possible amounts that could be won by the one contestant at the end.
Please note: There was a $1,000 cheque via the FFF segment at the beginning to be won on later seasons of 9 era Hot Seat.
Could have traded it for one of three lifelines on one question.

$0 (in theory all 6 contestants combined could have failed to get past the $1,000 milestone level but I don't think they ever did)
$1,000
$2,000
$10,000
$11,000
$20,000
$21,000
$50,000
$51,000
$100,000
$101,000
$250,000
$251,000
$1,000,000
$1,001,000 (we were one $1,000,000 question away from seeing this once but the guy gave the $1,000 FFF cheque to Switch the question and he answered the switched question correctly)

Channel 10's new era I reckon will have the following amounts possible to win

$0
$1,000
$5,000 (maybe $6,000)
$10,000
$20,000
$50,000
$100,000
$1,000,000
